Got some time to spare with this machine last weekend, washed and waxed her.

I must repeat again, it's a brilliant machine with timeless beauty. I wish Suzuki should have retained the DNA / characteristics of this machine to the current gen cars (which they failed obviously) After driving Ciaz for more than a couple of months and few thousand kms, I feel Baleno is far far better in terms of power delivery, ride comfort, handling and what not

She looks good, Mr.Boss. Worth every bit of the time/effort.
While looks might be subjective, I personally love the Baleno's looks all the more, as time passes by.

And yes, the Baleno is way better than the Ciaz to drive. But I guess with the Ciaz, they did finally manage to find the package that ticks all the boxes for the person that matters most (customer) and have a great seller on their hands in this segment.

Definitely YES.
Ciaz scores in terms of looks, features, space, FE and everything what this market wants. But the only wish is MS should have kept at least 1 variant with Fun-to-Drive factor (Like T-Jet, VRS, GT) Flimsy construction with a FE oriented engine/transmission tuning makes it boring sometimes

Spotted this well-maintained beauty yesterday in my town at Kerala. Looked almost like out of the showroom.

I completely agree with you on both aspects that Suzuki could have carried foward their characteristics ( at least some of it ) to the newer generation cars made. The newer generation Suzuki cars may be more technologically advanced but it wont beat a Baleno in terms of the drive comfort, power and what not as rightly mentioned by someone in this forum....

I miss driving this car these days as now I have relocated and only get to drive it occasionally when I am back in my native.

Your car looks spik and span after the wash and wax..

What did you use to do this ? any machinery ? what type of wax, polish, scrub did you use ? I would want to wax my car this time when i come back and prefer a DIY rather than going to a shop..

Amway products (car wash + silicon glaze) without any power tools
