May be I had worst NEXA experience ever possible as I had full cost of car out of my pocket for 4 months before I got the car finally. For this I have booked a date with NEXA in consumer court!
Hi Sip, Good to see 1.6 ownership growing.
Sad to see another Nexa nightmare. I was part of two new car delivers ( both Maruti) after my so called premium experience at Nexa. Both deliveries were far more professional than 'Nexa Experience'.
But, the car makes to forget these bad experiences and move on .

Thinking of either the 1.3 S-cross alpha or 1.6 S-cross alpha post the facelift. prasanna indaje: What has been your thoughts on city driveability of the 1.6? Heavy clutch in B2B traffic - is it true?

Isn't this contradictory to what you said earlier in the facelift thread regarding 1.6 DDiS likely being discontinued in facelift?

PS: Quoting your own post below!

Yes, it is. But based on what you and some others have said in the forum, what we hear from the showroom owners is not reliable. So covering all corners here

No contradiction - updating the beliefs based on new information. Bayesian inference

Sorry for a super delayed reply.
If 1.6 is less enjoyable in anything, that is city drive-ability. I am having a hard time in negotiating ever increasing Bangalore ORR traffic. However, everything is forgotten once you see an open stretch!

Now that 1.6 is mostly out in the face-lift, there will be no confusions.

He has booked or in process of booking the New Gen Verna over the S-Cross IIRC.

Absolutely...But I think the Hyundai 1.6 makes it a more fun to drive experience over a 1.3 MJD SCross. The 1.6 is no longer available at all if I'm not mistaken.

Haven't driven Verna, but on paper specifications look impressive. Going by that, Verna should be more agile than SCross 1.3.

All, May be I am the first person to sell 1.6 on this forum.

Would be interesting to know what the reasons to sell the car were, especially since it was less than 2 years old since you bought it.

There were only three reasons :

1. Bangalore's famous outer ring road
2. Wife who could drive only ATs
3. Need of a bigger family car.

This is the best car I have owned / driven and absolutely no issues so far.
