Hey Sathya, a very nice color indeed. I haven't seen much of this one on road.

Congrats

Here in Pune, I booked Supreme Red too. Have been waiting for one and half months already. But yesterday my dealer called to tell me my car will be dispatched on the 30th from their factory. So, my guess would be that they have started sending that colour out. Check with your dealer.

I had called the Maruti regional office and they told me that there had been no dispatches for red over the last month and it will come only sometime end of this month.

I like the Red better than any other color. Even the black does not match it. So, if you can wait, just wait it out.

I went with Fabric, will post some pix. BTW I am hearing that leather and art leather both give problems in long run (smell after you take out from hot parking area, doesn't suck sweat hence smells, etc) - people say that fabric is better.

Guys, comments?

At least all the dirt & smell can be cleaned off in leather/art leather. The fabric is much tougher keeping clean. I had art leather &then changed over to fabric. Now, i regret my decision. It was so much easier with art leather.

I am finally getting my car delivered today. Beige color ZXi. asked for anti-rust coating and Teflon coating and they are charging 7500 for it. They told me that they do not have/not getting the body cover :( . Could anyone suggest where I can buy a body cover as I will be parking the car on the street. I have seen it once in Big Bazzar. Is it good?

I had my first longish drive in my SX4 to Shivanasamudra. The road was nice and I touched speeds of 140-150 on the NICE road. On bangalore mysore road, I was able to do 100s regularly, but due to the HTV traffic, I could not go beyond that. BM road is good with its curves and it was a pleasure to drive the SX4 at high speeds on the curves. Coming back, it was raining and I had to cut down speeds to 80s. Otherwise, I liked the way it handled puddles. There was no loss of grip or hydraplaning.

A NHC driver seemed to eager to overtake me on the road. So I would let him overtake, but would get past him pretty quickly, whenever the road turned bad or had a hump (NHC would stop completely and still get some scratches). That's where SX4 has a major plus. It does not matter if the road is good or bad, it drives well.

After all the highway driving, today morning was a pain in the neck to drive in the city. This car is a waste if you do not take it out of the city.

I bought it in Pratham Motors, outer ring road (accessories section), costed 1600 bucks. Gsport told me 500 or 1000, I forgot. I went with MUL genuine parts.

This is good... good suspensions and ground clearence is a must for indian road conditions. Honda has not been able to achive both of this (atleast with city).

I had to get my cars's suspensions modyfied so that they can take some bad roads but after the mod it sure feels great

Would love to test drive SX4 sometime soon.
