Thanks Finney - Have you had any luck that number? They are supposed to come to wherever you are in Bangalore and service autocop, but my problem is i haven't been able to get through to anybody on that number - have been trying pretty incessantly...

Also, does anybody have a clue on how one can get the auto window roll-up function on locking? I checked with a dealer nearby, and he said that he'd have to change the powerwindow motor assembly, because none of the standard products would be compatible with the company power windows? Its becoming a bit of a pain not having an intermediate position between engine run, and all electricals off. If i have my windows down, i have to keep the engine running after coming to a stop, roll the windows up, and then turn off the engine (or alternately turn off the engine, and turn the key back on)

After all the discounts (including the exchange offers) it comes to 4.5L here.
But, discounts are increasing every week (first time i went 8k, then 17k now almost 30k without bargaining), so i guess i should wait and see if it increases/stabilises.

are you referring to the "park" key position? It provides power only to the indicators - can't turn headlights on when the key is in this position, doesn't supply power to the HU - nothing! I guess its only meant to be used if you are parking your car, and need to leave the hazards on - although it would have been good to provide audio HU power at least in this position...

4.20L is the price you got, if i am not wrong which seems to be real value for a 1.6 Palio. Hope you didnt get fleeced for the exchange stuff, usually for buy back deals the customer is always at a loss when compared to sale to individuals

I bought my Stile 1.6 from Gurgaon and it costed me Rs. 4,32000 on road after all discounts and exchange bonus. I think that's th best price anyone would have got.

3) read couple of comments on hte engine immobilizer.. Can anyone help me understabd the engine immobilizer?..
4) whats the best offer that anyone got from bangalore.... so that i can go to the same dealer....

renagade thats an unbelievable price

vinz,

i think you can negotiate with your dealer from where you are sourcing your alloys for some exchange price and trade in the palio alloys. actually you can try posting in the market or in pug since i think quite a few prople would be interested in the palio rims

no music system is provided with palio . only at dealer level is it fitted.

for 1.6 there is no immobilizer

1. Yep, it is possible! But you need to get 98 PCD Alloys for Palio.
Aura does have 1 or 2 designs with 98 PCD.

2. In case, you are selling off your OEM Alloys, I am interested, please PM me.

First of all, Sorry for using SMS lingos... I was used to it...

how is that a bad idea?.. I mean, i do know there are some problem with the screwing that FIAT has in hte alloys.. I will check more about it.. Thank You..

So there are people to buy FIAT alloys uh.. I actually wanted to gwt a set of OZ alloys.. Thats the reason i was planning to change this..!!..

So are there any bangaloreans here who bought 1.6 sport recently and got a good offer?..

Thanks Guys...

They are almost same. Palio 1.6 does 0-100 in 12.5 seconds and fiesta does it in 12.6 seconds....but I guess, the Palio will score very high on build quality, ride than the fiesta
