Ask your TATA dealer to get it for you and it shouldnt be a problem as TATA have listed them as one of the accessories on their website too.

If there is some problem then shoot a mail to TATA and they should be able to guide you.

PROS of buying it from the TATA dealer being the exact size/specs etc.

Steeroid : To quote the Sales Manager "Sir the 3.0 is like a Leyland bus (!!!) - it reall]y comes to its own on the highways where it takes off. This is like a Tata bus which is more comfortable in the city."
Reading your comparative review, couldnt help but observe that the 3.0 was one for the highway, and the 2.2 more (at)tuned to city driving. Considering that the vehicle would spend most of it's life in a city, this kind of tuning & performance looks logical.

Then again, I wouldn't mind a steadier climb through the speeds beyond 80. It's the initial pick that contributes to a lot of performance perceptions. On the TCIC Victa, I do often feel the lack of initial pick-up (here, due to the turbo lag). Once I go past the initial stages, the truck feels just fine.

LLL : Am trying to get my family to agree to 1 more TD of safari from a different dealer.
Suggest you let them see a friend's vehicle, one where the vehicle has settled into it's normal operating behaviour. Any initial niggles like a rough gear shift would have been resolved.
