Amit, sorry to see that on your car. That's bad. One similar thing happened with a friend. He left his new Alto parked on a street one day only to return and find a huge scratch marked across on the right side of the car. The car was his...well...marriage gift, and it really was hurting.

Doesn't matter who did it.. A drunk is a drunk, be it in a fiat or in a Rolls Royce.

Going by the time, am assuming its some drunk @#$ on a two wheeler

Got the car back. Total amount paid was Rs. 4,680 for new fender, painting, labour and all taxes.

Parked the car in my society at 6 pm. 5 hours and 15 minutes later the security guy comes up and says a Santro while backing up hit my car!

Rushed down but luckily the damages are small. Take a look:

Yikes, what is happening?
A series of hits, one after the other? Do MSIL guys have a grudge on you for reporting facts about your ownership experience?
I know it hurts, but it is better to get your bumper re-done so that the car regains its splendour.

Default It's happened again!

Got a new number plate, removed the bumper scratches with rubbing compound and got the car back at 4 pm yesterday.

At 8.15pm, a tanker in front of me braked suddenly in Chembur. I slammed on the brakes, the ABS kicked in but the car couldn't stop and there was a shunt with the tanker!

Speeds were slow, traffic lights had just turned green and we were picking up speed. I don't think we were over 20kmph.

The major damages are to plastic parts. Bumper has taken a hit, grille and Suzuki logo are gone too. I don't know how the bonnet lost it's alignment. Would it be worthwhile to go in for insurance? I would get just 50% for plastic parts plus pay a penalty of 10% while renewing the policy next year. Probably better to get the bumper done from a local garage. What are your suggestions?
