He said I can expect a call from a Tvm dealer who can provide me with a TD car.

at a cost meaning its officially from hyundai right or done outside ? anything above 25k more is a loot for abs. whats the full price of getz crdi in mumbai anyways ?

Power is high that, you don't feel the difference ....

I live in cool city called Bengalooru and bought this car during winter season. So so far, I felt AC is very effective. One of my friend on a drive said, AC looks very good Anju !!...(trust me)

Guys Help !!

My Kencha is getting first service and Advaith guys told that its better to do silion coating on the engine + layout under the hood. It would cost around 700 Rs.
I wanted to know if its worth doing ?

I am going for underbody treatement for preventing corrosion, damage.

cheers

Advaith guys always try selling this stuff to everyone i guess. They say doing this enamel coat on rubber parts, electrical wiring etc. will increase their life. I got this done too. Looks good when the car is delivered after service with this coat, all shining black hoses etc. Really do not know (and also beleive) it does something which the service adviser their claims. They has charged me 550 for my santro if i remember correctly. that was almost 7 months ago.
I do not see this coat as a necessary one.

i dont know why the silicon coating would prtect the rubber parts.my brother is also doing his service with advaith ,i dont remember him saying this.he does his work at the old advaith workshop and he says the new one is a waste of time and the work done was not up to his expectation, but the old one is good.

Yeah it looks good thats about it. For 700 bucks not sure if its worth it. Might as well by a can of silicon spray and cover ALL the plastics of the car

I remember them pushing this often for the Santro, cost was 700rs.

Yup, had the same done in my Santro's engine bay. As mentioned, engine bay looks shiny and new, with all the rubber and plastic parts shiny and black. Stays for a pretty long time though. Am sure lots of people ask you to pop the hood so they can drool at the beast of an engine. So maybe it's worth it for you to make it look as good as it works

My Santro's engine bay after it got the cleaning+coating:

I got Mud glaps, floor mats, sun film, and Spoiler(I am sure this one is tough to get and I can't tell you why and how I got it).

Before 1st service, I have checked 3 times and the mileage in Bengalooru city condition with 90% ac on is 13.9, 13.4, and 14.3 kmpl.
In first service, they hardly do anything so I don't expect sigificant change in the mileage,,( correct me if I am wrong).
Only thing I see that, all the moving and rotating parts becomes smooth( overall reduction of friction) hence there may be slight increase in mileage.

I'll try to check everytime I refill the fuel until third service to have more accurate estimate.

I did'nt do silicon coating for engine layout.
But did underbody antirust coating for Rs 3250.

cheers
