Default Odo @ 11800kms.

Did a 800km round trip last weekend. Guess my 2.2's first monsoon drive.
The trip from Tvm-Chertalla-Kumarakom-Kottayam-Pala-Mutton-Idukki-Thangamani-Kattapana-Kanjirapally-Pala-Tvm. My co-bro drove for 120kms from Kattapana to Pala a distance of 120kms in 2hours 15min. I drove back to Tvm same night a distance of 187km (Tvm-Pala) in almost 3hours. Kudos to my oldest and favorite navigator my Mom for giving me company all the way.

Some videos

Chertalla- Kumarakom; back ground song is from a film called Pranayakalam.
YouTube - Tata Safari 2.2l EX via Chertalla-Kumarakom Kerala

Pala-Uzhavoor Road; back groudn song is from Vineeth Srinivasan's new album Cafe @ MG Road
YouTube - Pala-Uzhavoor route

Default Trip to Kattapana/Vagamon. Odo @13800kms

Had to goto Kattapana.

Drove via Changanacherry-Ponkunnam-Kuttikanam-Eelapara-Kattapana; a distance of 260kms from Trivandrum.

Return was via Vagamon

Some pix on the way and at Vagamon (the one with mist covered back ground)

And my new seat covers. Cost me 4.5K @ Motorplaza. Neat job. Also changed tints to more darker ones for 1200rs, Garware.

yah! will remove it. I forget to do that everytime!

It was abused to some extend. The NH is in a bad state now. And next time you sure can take it for a proper Safari.

JK, nice pics!! i noticed that the front seat covers in your car are not identical. I mean the spacing between the stitch on both seats is not looking uniform. May be its the camera or is that right? just curious..

WOW...JK, who is that stunning macho standing near the safari? I feel katrina might dump salman.

When am i getting the opportunity to TD your safari as my test drive in Hyson turned out to be a disaster? i.e. when is your next trip to COK?

Why bother? You will never drive anything other than an M&M - I'll bet anything on that.

Dont write me off that fast. You can never say. i might end up in a safari.

I was not happy with the TD anyway & a recently started VTT thread is scaring me.

Still looking forward to TD a maintained one like JK's.
