Sales figures of cars like Indigo/NHC have shown that people do buy such cars in great numbers even though they may look like an afterthought design.

Irrespective of what some of you here are saying about the high boot not looking nice, the car has already managed to create quite a bit of fan following online. I have noticed a remarkable change in the tone after the you tube video and the website.

Nice scoop Eddy!

The rear of the car looks good in isolation, but when I try to visualise that front and the rear, it looks like the designers have not talked to each other and have done their own business of designing their part.

Having said that, I give full credit to the designers for "sedan"ising a car which was designed to be a hatchback in mind.

But, as many members have pointed out, the car when viewed in flesh can be a different animal altogether. I can't hold my breath to watch it in flesh!

So for the queries made in the other thread-LDI/lxi would be just power stearing and a/c.
VXI/VDI -would come with 4 door power window, stereo with 4 speakers,Inteligent display for outside temp, rpm meter, adj head rest for rear and front, etc
ZXI/ZDI-climate control,stearing mounted stereo control,alloy wheels,rear defogger,abs,ebd,airbag,tiltable stearing,height adj for drivrs seat,etc
RAM

great job eddy.
When you follow it the rear looks great, when you see it coming in the rear view mirror its a swift and it is so cute....the only time you hate it is when you see the side profile.
all snaps seem to look good except for the 8 th photo..it really looks YUCK.

Yeh I read some place that the Vxi/Vdi have in dash stereo as well as a digital display of the outside temperature, well Eddy can confirm. I visited Mandovi motors to check if they had news on the Dzire, I was told the launch is on the 26th in Delhi, 27th Launch in Bangalore and the vehicle will be available on display from 27th afternoon onwards. Pricing etc will be available on 26th.

The car looks fine from the rear, all the way to the A-pillar. Then, the looks of the front and the rear just dont match.

Either way, the car would sell, for sure.

Thanks for the info RAM. My friend was thinking of getting LDi but now will settle for VDi. He just needs a basic sedan to do the daily jobs.

Another question does Dzire comes with LOW FUEL WARNING LAMP ?
