Got my PASSION RED VERNA CRDI SX ABS few days back(17th april).Sorry for the delay in posting.

Changes Done
Alloy wheels-->14inch
Tyres--Michelin XM+--195/60/14

Its run almost 800kms.200kms city driving and 600 kms of highway driving.Till now no issues.

Highway ride was from Cochin to Bangalore.
Cochin--chavakkad--Perumbilaavu-Nilambur--Gudallur--Gundalpett--Mysore--Bangalore.

We started off at 10 am from cochin and reached bangalore by 10 pm.There were 5 people in the car with full lugauge.Road is pretty good.Only 10km stretch was bad(after the Gudallur forest till gundalpett).But the vehicle managed it pretty well.
Got FE of 15kmpl over all with 100%AC.

I don't know if anyone has pointed out this in the earlier ownership review.When you adjust the steering wheel to downward position,i am not able to see the trip meter or the total km reading(not a serious problem though).with the default position its perfectly fine.

This is my first ownership review.I know its short but everything i have to say is the same as other owners have already said.So not boring you guys with the same stuff.

Congrats on your new ride. How is the handling after you changed the tyres.. ???

I did not go beyond 110.It was very stable till 110.will let u know the stability at high speeds after the 1st service.

If its stable at 110 kmph , then its good.. I dont recommend to go beyond that either. Safety First

I've seen this in some other cars too. Atleast in my Accent. Might be something that the manufacturers overlook. But nothing serious I believe.

Congratulations! Welcome to the Club. If you intend to keep it beyond two years, I hope you have got extended warranty.

Thanx shatrughna and malludude

@shatrughna,

dealer said i cant extend it anytime before the 2 year warranty expires.hope to extend it with in few months.Did you extend it?how much does it cost??

Small correction shatru

@shatrughna,

what is the FE that you got before 1st service and what is it that you are getting now?
Both city and highway??

Binoy congrats on your new car ! Its better you maintain 110-120 km/hr . 800 km in four days !! is it dat you wanted to test your car on highways or is it your regular usage? Shall wait for your pics!

Hey binoyb22,

Congrats on your car buddy. Thank god Hyundai dealers in cochin are good compared to bangalore and you had a smooth deal compared to mine. Please do keep me updated on the handling, famous verna effect and the FE. Please dont forget to upload pics of your new baby.

Lets see if you baby sparkels better than snaronikar's red ikon.

Regards,
Sajan
