The innova is a great car!
Congrats on the buy.

Last year we did a family trip down to the bandipur national park and ooty.
We hired a self drive innova from AVIS Bangalore which clocked about 11000kms.
It was a streessfree drive, great legroom, lovely suspension, not a single rattle from any of the panels! Just fell in love with it!

Thanks for the wishes guys. This is one vehicle i would never mind sitting in the rear seat.

Guzzler, ride in the Innova whenever you want, no kissing it though

I got the Innova ICED this evening, started around 5 odd, and we wrapped up only by 10.30. The other accessories will hafta' wait till sunday. Ohh yes, i did finally drive the Innova to the installer's place and back home, its quite nice.

The equipment:
Pioneer 4050 DVD HU
Necvox 9" roof mounted LCD Screen
JBL 607 2 way Components in the front
JBL 607 2 way Components in the rear
JBL 604 4 channel Amplifier to fire the two pairs of components
Magnat Express 15" subwoofer at the rear in a sealed enclosure
Sony 222 2 channel amplifier to power the Magnat subwoofer (not powerful enough, but will stock to this for right now)

I first was getting the 10.4" screen, but it was in gray, the beige of the 9" screen made it look like a factory fit.
The install is quite clean, and i have till sunday when i go back to the store for the rest of the accessories.
Watched 20 minutes of Tokyo Drift while the installer wrapped up the wires, front seats, etc, the screen resolution was awesome, and the sound quality was quite nice as well.

Haha, thanks for putting up with all of that confusion.

Had no clue on this, but a few thousands more and you get a rear windscreen washer and wiper too, and the defogger as well.

Congrats manson..Innova is a great car indeed.

We did some research and narrowed down on an innova for a friend who wanted to buy a big family car. After deciding on the variant and after all negotiations were over, dealer said there is 7 weeks waiting period, the specific colr that he wanted. After my friend paid the advance, Toyota hiked Innova prices are up by 70K or so...And dealer is not ready to offer at the car at old price, even though advance was paid.

While he still likes the car, he is so pissed with the experience, that he is considering Scorpio now..

OT but never get installs done in the evening. Low visibility can lead to disastrous results.

Hi Manson,
Congrats on your new Innova
A coincidence that i too picked up my Innova from Millenium Toyota on 18th April. Just about a month, and i clocked in 800 kms
It certainly is a very Desirable vehicle as you rightly said

Now i need to fit all accesories and yes the most important of all - ICE
How much did you pay for your ICE and how does it sound ?

Which part of mumbai are you from
WOuld love to get more tips on what accessories to get and where ?
Im in Borivli and can travel till bandra to get it done
Ram
