Hey hey that is a great price. And what about the brake shoe for the rear brake? Did you ask him about that too?

All my steering vibrations have gone thanks to wheel alignment and balancing.
@djay - your suggestion indeed helped thanks!

And guys how about this -> Only EBC brake shoe at the rear. How does that sound?
@Undead -> did the dealer get back to you?

Most of the braking force comes from the front.
Also, weight transfers off the rear and to the front on braking hard.
Upgrading the rear braking only, will be risky. Tail will tend to step out.
Go for the front brakes upgrade first, and if you still want more braking, look at the rear.
ofcourse, all brake upgrades are kind of risky without the tyres to back you up.

PS-suspension upgrades will let you use the existing brakes and tyres better, but dont know about after market options on the Little CRDi

Suspension upgrade is also possible. But , wider tires and better Brake Rotors and Pads are more than enough for 110 bhp.

You are right undead. Better rotors and brake pads are sufficient.
I dont have any issues with handling in getz. If we upgrade brakes then definitely we can think of petes and GC air filter

Go for Green Pads first. Then change the rotors after sometime. Do it slowly to keep the enthusiasm going.
You can also try buying it online . Check their website EBC Brakes - Brakes for Cars, Motorcycles, Trucks and SUV for more details.
Two days back , i fitted Philips Essential White Vision H4 , Philips Blue Vision H3 for Hella 500 , Philips Blue Vision for City lights. Looks cool now.
My next things on my list are.
1. Magnaflow Exhaust - (for sound)
2. Underbody neons.

Any idea about part number for Ebc green brake pads?
I checked :: EBC Brakes Direct Limited :: and i can see 2005 Hyundi getz 1.5TD car which is latest in getz.
Front pads (green) + rear pads are costing around 9K with shipping charges to india.
If you can give me part number, then i can search easily and order.

So how is the improvement after changing all the bulbs?

How much does underbody neons cost?

I calculated total cost for:

Front brake disc rotors(2) + Green pads + Rear drum brake shoes.

Total amount including shipping comes to 16900 INR

I am attaching screenshot of the charges. Please go through it and confirm part numbers if possible.

djay. I can only confirm the front brake pads . I didnt buy them online due to this reason only - " What if the parts dont match up ? " . I visited this website before. But seems the front pads DP2803 will match as i know the shape of the pads . For rear shoes and Rotors , i am not sure.

Is it possible for you to talk to the dealer who has confirmed on the availability of rotors about part number?
If the dealer confirms, we can think of importing.
Any applicability of import duty?

From my chat with Peter, I was told that the hub design of the Getz CRDi sold in India is not the same as that of the Getz sold abroad. It's somewhat similar to the Verna but not exactly the same either. Hence, the problem in procuring rotors for the car.

So upgrading brake pads is the only option left.
