Looks great.
Btw, I have been wondering this. The Aveo looks like its width is smaller, but actually it is wider than Lancer. Probably the front makes it look like that.

Looks lovely but lose the GM branded licence plates. The vivid blue logo spoils the looks and is also (technically) illegal.

Maybe paint them over or splurge and buy the high security number plates?

The instrument binnacle looks real classy, could you post some more interior shots, nice color, if only the ORVM's were also painted the same body color, but then you can always add chrome!

Yes it is illegal. RTO rule says that no other stickers are marks should be on the Number plate. infact, they emphasis even the font and size.

But how many people stick to the rules?

I was once caught in Anna salai, Chennai for having a Sticker (Warlock) in my Yamaha number plate. The very same day when it came in newspaper about govt advt that you should not have stickers

Hi Manik, long time no hear. Well I got around 13.5 on the Highway with AC 95% of the time and real horrible roads. That's measured over 1200 kms.

Have gone in for the first reassurance checkup. All OK except the mechanic spilt most of the airfreshner on the dashboard making the vehicle smell for a week.

Have done around 1600 KM till now. Am planning a long trip os Sat-Sunday and will then check FE again.

Latest figures of FE in city with really really harsh driving ie less than 1 km between complete stops ie home to office to another office and so on. AC was on 25% of the time. FE- 10.5 km/l.

Expect this to go up on moderate driving conditions to around 12.5 kmpl. I thing that's pretty good for a 1.4L engine.

5000 kms report:

1. Did the 5000 kms servicing at 4500 kms as I was going to drive home. All seems okay except the engine sounds a bit harsh. I mean earlier I could barely hear the engine inside but now i can easily make out the RPM.

2. Anyway drove down to Belgaum from Indore. First stop Dhule and continued till Manmad on NH3. Next Day I cut across to shirdi on NH 50, hit Pune and the zoomed till Belgaum on the NH 4. Approx diatance 1200 kms

3. No problems in the vehicle except a slight squeaking noise from the Passenger's seat. Finally narrowed it down to the seat belt rachet. A slight twist an it was OK.

4. Hit Goa from Belgaum. Had a blast in Goa. Drove back after 4 days. Distance covered 800 kms.

5. Finally came back to Indore via the same route with a night halt at Shirdi. The roads are amazing in Maharashtra and Goa. Karnataka is OK but Madhya Pradesh has the worst roads, and this is on NH3 (Agra Bombay Highway). Posting some pics.
