Me : Dad its the vRs i have decided
Call up the skoda guy on his cellphone.
Dad : How much advance do you need
Skoda : Atleast 20000
Dad : Will send you cheque of 50000 tomorrow, keep the car for me
Skoda : Sure Sir.
Why can't my dad be like your dad, dad are you listening?

You have made this choice by heart, and choices by heart are always the right one's. Nice car choice and a fantastic ride. Enjoy the beast.

Congrats Abhinav. I too wanted to buy a yellow RS but when my office colleague bought one, I wanted my car to be different and bought Red. After 3 years, I think it was a wise choice, because the yellow looks a little dull whereas the red still has its sheen.

The mileage that you will get is astounding. Light footed driving with AC on, will give you around 10 kms per liter.

Remember to idle the engine for a couple of minutes before switching off otherwise you will cook the turbo.

Make sure your tool kit has the special key (like a nut) that opens one of the wheel nuts, which is different from the other 4. Its an anti-theft feature for the alloys.

Cheers

The RS is still available, but cars are produced only against orders.

I think there will be a lead time of 2 months till you order and get a new RS from the factory through your Skoda dealer.

Cheers.
