When the Vista tail lamp was being designed, there was a debate at Tata Motors on one-piece versus two piece design. Finally two-piece design was adopted, just like in Marina.

Breakup
Ex Show room price : 4,84,691
Insurance : 16,395
Road Tax : 63,980
Handling charges : 4,000

why the difference in Extended warranty in Bangalore? Any idea?

Further it seems Insurance quote is on the higher side in Bangalore 1700/-

my observation-the engine is very loud and it is no where near swift.in fact i was wondering whether i was in the correct test drive car or was there a problem in the car. guys please tell me is this the same engine that is found in swift.
the interiors are a pleasant.
the rear leg room is impressive.
the odometer is well placed.
the ICE is lacking in bass and it looks very cheap.
i would rate it well below swift.
You drove Aura, I think aura has Tata's TDI engine and not the Fiat's engine which is in Swift.

The Aura (i.e. Air) is the top-end model of the range and has the Quadrajet engine. The TDi engine equipped Vista does not have an Aura version.

Actually, Aura is only available with Fiat engines.
TDI comes in Terra and Acqua trims only.

I haven't seen a Vista yet but from the pictures, I can't see the temperature gauge in the instrument cluster. How does the Vista show the temperature?

SBI has 12.5%.
SBI has increased since mid of august. Now its 13.25% - 14.25%, depending on the vehicle you are purchasing and the loan amount and tenure.

Vijaya Bank 12% with Rs 220/lakh as processing fee. tenure is 60 months.

Next best is Indian Bank @ 12.25% with almost similar Processing fees

The Vista has a temp guage on the digital display. Appears when you switch the key to Acc position.

forget interest rates. Ask for EMI's for the same amount and duration. I was once quoted a very low rate of interest by ICICI , but the EMI's turned out to be much higher than that of a much higher interest rate loan for the same amount by CSB ( catholic syrian bank - dad's salary account is with them) , so i went with them
