We are comparing cars with Multijet diesel option, so i10 need not be dragged here.
And i10 scores only on finish & interiors.

The comparison was between these 3 cars in the diesel category.

I10 is yet to come out with diesel version.

Let's not make such sweeping statements unless you have strong basis for it. If there is a competition between three, obviously you will have three standings but that does not prove what you said.

Default Indica Vista Quadrajet is a welcome change to Indica V2

Indica Vista Quadrajet is a welcome change to the old aging Indica V2 turbo and DICOR.

Palio Multijet definitely scores over any hatch in terms of ride quality and handling

I beg to differ here. Vista is a notch above in terms of ride quality and Swift in terms of handling than MJD. I recall watching AutoCar show, where they were racing cars to clock the fastest lap time, It included Palio 1.6, Swift, Fiesta, SX4 and other larger sedans. Palio, even after having 100 horses, was faster by only half a second than swift with a total lap time of around 2min, 24 seconds. Reasons cited was swift's better handling at corners.

TD the car today, what a pleasant surprise much much better than the old indica ... fully loaded all the way ... when compared to palio d it lacks in braking , handling other than that this car will be a huge success.

its on 25th now...it seems they are getting their truck load of cars on 24th from pune. i am planning to collect it on 25th or 26th.

just signed the loan agreement formalities with Axis bank today for a loan of 4L@12.7% for 3 years.

Will decide on accessories in a few days. what i am definitely going for while taking delivery are Mats/Mud Flaps and underbody anti-rust coating.

for the following i am undecided whether to get em from showroom or "outside" (i am collecting quotations as of now): Alloys, Sun film, Art Leather seats and steering cover, speakers, keyless entry, reverse parking sensor.

are they saying that MJD has better interiors, safety features and...gulp...resale value compared to Vista???? i only concede fit and finish to MJD.

@phamilyman, it's best done when fresh out of the show-room (minimal dirt on the under-carriage). And convinient to get it done before delivery.

Also, some dealers (stupidly) says it will void warranty (wonder which warranty).

Did you have it for Indica too?

Does this anti rust coating have any warranty?

Gm dealer told me that new generation cars dont need coating as it is done from factory itself .at least he assured me that it is not required for spark.

oh is it? in that case i have to investigate the same for Vista. i dont want to waste around 2K if its not necessary.

about Alloys, what do you people think would suit a bright red car: chrome, silver/aluminium or black-silver?
