tsk1979 : Well Indica has had coil springs and fully independent rear suspension for quite some time(my 2002 indica has coil springs at back too!, no leaf springs!)
@TSK, re-check ? I dont think the Indica / Indigo had coil springs.

Well indica/indigo does not have leaf springs for sure, and specifications page also says fully independent suspension.
Infact it was a USP with indica for quite some time, independent suspension all around, something seen mostly in high end cars

@TSK, I was refering to the coil springs, even in the earlier posts.

No doubts / arguments about leaf-springs - these were never there in the Indica family.

The spec sheet says "Coil spring mounted on hydraulic shocks". The Vista sports the Sierra / Estate style coil springs - about 4-5 inches in dia.

thank you. i replied to yr PM.

i will be collecting it today evening. i already made the payment and completed part of the paperwork.

right now the showroom guys are installing the art-leather seats, which would take around 3-4 hours. it seems leather upholstery installation involves taking out the seats and then putting them back.

i opted for the "official" art-leather seats coz tata has designed them in the exact shade of biege, matching the interiors. i could not get this match anywhere outside.

i am also taking beige floor carpet (no black rubber mats) and mudflaps from the showroom.

rest will be done "outside" today itself - speakers, sunfilm, keyless entry, reverse sensor etc.

CtrlAltDel, if its not much trouble , could you inquire and let us know what the sizes of the stock speaker locations in the dash, front and rear doors are ?
