Ergonomically the center dashboard instrument panel is not convenient. People would find issues reading the instrument panel while driving.

People will get used to it ! The driver is supposed to look at the road, but only glance at the instrment cluster .

in real time wheel caps S*** big time, it would be best to get a pair of alloys as soon as step out of showroom as this car definitely deserves one

what do you guys think?
Why not? Indica Taxi's were there since its launch. Still it was the highest selling B+ segment car (10~12K cars per month) till Swift over took it by this year.

As per Tata press release "The Indica achieved its highest sale of 144,690 nos. in its eighth year of launch in 2006-07 which is rare for any model so late in its life cycle."

Like Swift( in Europe), Santro & i10 (Autos Prime in Europe)- Corolla & Civic, Successfull Indica too will have generations and will carry forward its name.

i think you misunderstood what i was tryin to say , you are correct that indica is selling in good numbers, but most of the buyers are from the taxi sector, so unless they still want to target that segment, whats the point in naming it INDICA?

I omitted to post a pic of the Indica Vista console, close-up. I wasn't really excited about it, since almost all the time a driver spends is right there, behind the console!!. I think TATA Motors should have put some extra effort in this space.

I was to buy Spark LT some time back, but didn't go for it as the dashboard instrument panel and all is at the center, which i don't like.

Any inside news if they (tata) will be moving it again to the right side in coming time???

Nope they wont be moving it to right and it does look good in the centre. also if you sit at the driver seat its not uncomfortable to check it as the general perception. quiet easy.
