By my experience, don't do that if you value ride quality. Ask Global about getting wider tyres and if you don't like the looks of the stock alloys, you can get a wide selection in many shops. Genuine Skoda wheels cost around Rs. 40k for a set of 4.

Congratulations on your purchase, and the black colour looks just fantastic on the Laura, perhaps ony matched by the Corrida Red. And, I hate to say this, but I think the Octavia Elegance makes a better buy than Laura Ambiente. Sorry for that if

Put wider tyres on the stock rims and the rolling radius changes. This causes a lot more problems than putting 16" alloys and doing a proper upsize sacrificing a little ride quality.

The ride quality is very good with the 15" wheels. But it looks pathetic! I really want 17" wheels, ive asked global tyres, they have a very few options, and i didn't like any of them!

Guys, please help me in getting some nice wheels for the car. I would prefer some design, without lip.

Congrats on the purchase nikhil. Laura is my personal favourite. Hook it up with nice 17" wheels and it will look killer. How about some pics?

Have you asked at the Skoda dealership? You can try Westend Tyres in Panampilly Nagar also, if you are in Kochi. New Bharath has a good collection, but their reputation, I don't know. My experience with the stock 16" tyres on the L&K version is not exactly good, that's why I suggested keeping your 15''.

Anyway, nice pictures, great looking colour. Now how about a boot spoiler (from Skoda, if they have it in stock)?

The chrome exhaust tip is not in stock. I was looking at other options. Can any good quality exhaust tip be installed?
