No hurry for the exhaust tip. Get it done during 1st service or something. I have seen few octys (not laura) with after-market exhaust tips, and frankly the factory one looks better. Similar to Civics. And it costs 3-4K, not worth hunting for after market ones. Though I don't know for sure, I guess you can fit any after-market design that you like. It is simply chopping off the tip and welding the chrome tip. vRS one could be interesting. As you can tell: I like factory accessories :-)

I want the the one like on the octavia II (laura) vrs. It is there in the accessories shown in the skoda website, but my dealer says it is not available. the only one available is the one with holes on the bottom, and they look bad!

Here is a pic of what i want.

Nikhil, this is exactly what I have fitted to my car. I just asked them what accessories they have in stock when I took it for servicing and this was one of them. All I can say is your dealer is not being very cooperative. You can refer to this link http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/1115566-post24.html for Laura accessories available from Skoda *India*.

And thanks jk for the pics, i really like those wheels. But i guess i will have to wait. A lot of money is going into my final year project right now.

Default My Black Laura Ambiente

I shall post some pics of my Laura Ambienete. Other than the teflon coating and under body rust proofing, the only modification, if one may call so, are Milotec Eyelids and Lenso 17" alloys on Nankang 225/45R17.

@IshanSir: What honeymoon

Apologies for the crappy pics, wil be uploading good ones soon.

I am on a roadtrip , completed almost 1700KM on coastal Kerala, Karnataka and Goa roads and my initial impression on the car is that "I am Loving it".

There has been lots of reviews already on the forum and I am not an expert at penning down my thoughts so mine would be basic and hopefully useful.

Good Bits:
Cubby holes, Loads and Loads.

Awesome torque above 2000 RPM , a dream on the highways.

Stability and handling is excellent, atleast it suits my driving style, but a bit of lowering would help I feel.

Chilling AirCon

Fuel Economy : 15.12 for me with mixed highway and city driving.

Not So Good Bits:

Underpowered for a 15 L car, especially feels so @ <2000 RPM.

My Nankangs, which was the result of a shopping under duress.Road noise is horrible. So is the braking.Need to change them ASAP.

DXB- in Feb end inshallah. Hope to meet you there.

And regarding the 15 Big ones, there wasnt much choice for me in the diesel category. The only other diesel cars were Verna on this end of this spectrum and Superb on the other end.And I did not want a petrol car.

They are Lenso's . Got them from Pitstop. But its old stock, I was eyeing it for more than a year.Luckily got the last available set for a decent price.
