Ouch! 9-10 seems less.

There is a road that leads off towards Shahbad Dairy... Follow the metro line till Rithala. The road after Rithala is clear and is awesome for some high speed stuff. There is little traffic there. You can let her rip there.

Had your driving been majorly Karol Bagh and Anand Parbat, that figure could still make sense. The traffic is simply atrocious there. But with Rohini figuring in the list, I doubt it should fall so low. Feels like something is wrong.
By the way, how is the braking at high speeds?

Notorious, did they respond to your mail?
Do not worry, I feel that they will compensate. Blatant cheating on the Dealer's part to swap the 185's with 175 width tires.

@notorious - i have scanned and uploaded the brochure (pdf format) for my vgt sx 2008 model. As you can see it is 186/65 for the top end.

On a different note - are you still running 175s? If yes, Why?

Diesel:
  • CRDi base, 175/70 R 14 tyres with wheel caps
  • CRDi base with ABS and rear disc brakes, 185/65 R 14 tyres with wheel covers

The verna SX itself was launched in 2007 June and ONLY the ABS equipped models came with 185 sized tyres on 5.5 J X 14 wheels with full wheel cover.
Non ABS equipped models came with 5.0 J X 14 wheels with 175/70 R14 tyres and full wheel cover.

A way to identify this is:

Non ABS equipped car (all models of petrol and diesel EXCEPT XXI) had 7 spoke wheel caps as shown below:

ABS equipped car (CRDi and CRDi SX) had 6 spoke wheel caps as shown below:

Size: 31.3 KB

XXI petrol had standard alloys with 185 size tyres as shown below:

Size: 19.3 KB

While these wheel caps have exposed nuts, the design is the same and the Indian model had enclosed cap to conceal these nuts.
All these configurations are on the pre facelift vernas.

The February 2009 onwards facelifted base model vernas came standard with 7 spoke wheel caps in new design with exposed nuts (as shown in the photo) in 175/70 R14 tyres for base models, whereas both the petrol and diesel SX models now have standard ABS, alloys and 185/65 R 14 tyres.

I hope that this clears your doubts once and for all. The hans communication was wrong.

2. Inspite of two services , the average is 9-10 in city and around 17-18 on highway(620 kilometer trip).
3. I have a feeling that mw front left tyre is tilted to inwards from top.
4.On bumps , the steering wobbles like hell.

Rest is okay and will update soon after attending free 80 point car checkup.
Hey Notorious,
any update on the steering wobble issue? I drive a Petrol Verna which has clocked 43K kms & of late have started feeling the same thing. The car is perfectly fine except for this one issue which is ok, but would love to resolve it if possible.
