Default Another iVTEC Joins the Family

I was searching for another car in the sub 10 Lakh Range and had short listed the following

1. Honda City
2. Fiesta S
3. Verna Petrol

I was looking for a petrol car for city running and some weekend trips outside delhi. So I wanted a car which would be a good city runner in the weekdays when my parents drive it, And should have the feel good factor when I am driving it. Should have adequate power. My dad also has a heavy foot.

I was inclined towards the Fiesta S because of the incredible handling capabilities, But since just a few months back i had purcahsed a Fiesta Diesel it was ruled out, So the obvious choice was the Honda City, And since I drive a Civic, My parents were very much satisfied with the way the car was performing after covering 10,000 KMS. They were happy with the service costs etc, and from day one dad was a Honda fan, convincing him was not a difficult task either. He drives an accord

So We went ahead and booked a Silver Honda City S Manual last week, The loan clearance and all took a little time and Since today was an auspicious day(Mom said so) we took the delivery today evening. Since I already had an experience of taking my civic with the TBHP Check list, The sales advisor knew the same and before we arrived he had taken care of all the points very well in advance. Kudos to TBHP here

Initial impressions were very very impressive, The car has a Huge Boot and a very decent rear space as well, The stock HU and setup sounds good enough. I tested both using the USB and my iPod both worked seamlessly well.

Some pics of the same.I will take better pictures tomorrow morning and post.I plan to keep this stock(Hopefully) with upgrade to only the tyres, The tyres are very very skinny, Though they are michelins but then i think an Upsize to 195/60 is must.

So the Total numbers of Hondas in my house go upto three

1. Honda Accord 2006 Type 2
2. Honda Civic 2008
3. Honda City 2009

See what i mean when i say I and my dad like Hondas

Congrats on the purchase Manan.

Hope to see it at a meet someday

I like the City in this colour and no doubt Honda has come out with a winner.
Michelin XM1 is provided right.

What all mods planned?
Visiting Sai Mag wheels?

Congrats for your purchase manan !
Awesome choice of color, I really liked this one when saw it 2-3 days back.

Seems like Honda fever has really caught you aggressively, so whats next on cards, CRV or Jazz ??
