Hmmm!! Why do all the car manufacturers not sell the good stuff here in India? Hope this trend changes soon. Anyway all you guys 110 bhp is any day better than the 77bhp what say?

Stick to normal diesel only. Do not use any of the additive diesels.

Yeah, i know that look! A Skoda and a Lancer on the ECR- with a Fiesta coming far off in the opposite direction, was not-so-tight an overtaking maneuver- and Fiesta driver's eyes were almost popping out (He was about 15 meters from me by the time I got on to the fore).

Had this been any other hatch, I would probably have not attempted to overtake a Skoda and a Lancer, definitely not with a Fiesta coming towards me

Sorry was away for a few days. I have never used the premium diesal thanks to the diesal heads of the forum. When it comes to premium diesal it is a big no no here at tbhp especially with the Crdi's. Please refrain from using the premium diesals as pointed out by the tyre guru .
Hey man put up some pics.

Talking Update - 2nd service completed

Hi all,
The car has completed 10000km. The 2nd service has been done.
Here are the details:
Summer Windscreen - Rs. 88
Engine Oil - Rs. 989
Engine Flush(Additive) - Rs. 311
Filter Cartridge - Rs. 1309
Oil Filter - Rs. 307

Total Bill with tax Rs. 3382

The car seems to be much smoother. My ac filter had clogged due to which the blow was very less - the problem has been resolved. The gear lever noise yet seems to be there will be going to the service center soon to resolve that problem too.

@mods - please update the threads title.

Updates on the Wish list:
1. Lumar 35% sunfilm -> Done (Actually took the LLumar 20%)
2. GSport seat covers -> Done (check out the pics)
3. Keyless entry -> Done - Autocop (without body sensors)
4. Flooring + steering cover(similar to pras) -> Done
5. Spoilers -> When i have more vita M
6. Alloys -> Same as above
7. Steering grip -> Done
8. GC Filter ->Done
(Some one has to ask me to put up the review :P)
Cheers/Shyam

Seats look nice shyam. But I thought you were going to go in for the dark grey - light grey combo. The light beige is more difficult to maintain.
Seems you have a lot of vita m. How about sponsoring my green cotton?
And must we all ask you for a review? Please fill us in on the post-service ride details with the new filter.

The car looks great samatre. What is your wish list on your car?

As for the post service experience - the car is as smooth as ever and as i said the gear vibration thinggy is not yet resolved. Oh and about the GC filter well what can i say, the car's lower end and the upper end torque has improved a lot. The car normally runs out of breath when it hits about 4200 rpm but now revs away like a petrol engine till 4600 rpm without any hesitation. There is no filter sound like the one coming from a K&N(p.s. i had a k&n in my zen it used to make a vhoom sound :P). Overall the car has become more responsive and i dont find any difference at the milage front. All you guys with the crdi monster go get yourself one you will not be disappointed. The first thing that happened to me once after the filter was installed was a 2nd gear wheel spin (a heavy one)

Cheers/Shyam
