Yes that is right, I have alloys from outside in my Ford, no warranty issues. Dealers are known for misleading statements like these. Why was a sticker placed on the hood of the car? Did you like it and you bought it or it was in the set with the side graphics and you did not want to waste it, so stuck it. Not sure about you but it makes the car look fake, I mean its a fake scoop so it does that well, which is not good. Spoils the good looking color in my opinion.

Seat covers are loose, you might want to take them to where you got it from and spend some time there since they will be more than happy to fit it properly, sticking it at the right places on the seat so you have the curves of the original seats.

Hi para_7k,
I loved the detailed research that you did before settling on your i10. Great camparisons and finally settling for this wonderful car. Congratulations and I am sure you are loving the drives on this car.
One quick question, the wooden finish all over the dash board which you got done outside, is that branded? also would it be available in bangalore or only in chennai?

@kums, I bought it from Hyundai Motor Plaza, Chennai which is the company owned one. Do check with all dealers for the best set of offers

@jango, Your "deep ocean" blue looks really nice.

@abhi, Yes. Got mislead by the dealer and you are right. That hood sticker is not good. Got as a set and stuck it. Will be removing it soon.

@nnandi, The wood finish is from "Autographix", the leading car/bike graphics maker. You should easily get it in bangalore. I think bangalore has more places for these compared to chennai.

I have completed about 1300 kms and will be getting the first service done by this weekend.

Will it be so early for me to post the initial ownership report ?

@Rjeevan, Thanks. I will get the hood sticker removed soon.

I saw the steering cover on your i10. It looks very odd. Please have it replaced.

Thanks para..I've booked a i10 sportz model - blushing red ! But in a dilemma over the color whether to go to black!Blushing red looks good in showroom but in the roads along with other cars,i feel its little bland - like a faded red one!

kums,

Black is certainly the better one. If you can clean your car frequently of dust, Black is the one to go for. Opt for the Stone black with Red sports pack.

Congrats Para 7K.

I too have the same Kappa sportz and enjoying it here in Chennai (you can see my review). I liked your seat cover and I too think it should be fixed in proper as said by others here.

So far I didn't put anything extra in my car outside the dealer (all extras I have are freebies).

I am thinking to put leather steering cover. Could you please share the shop where you put it?

Will need to check with Hyundai Motor Plaza is their price is any different
