yes, this is the practise in every service centre.

After my discussion with VST,WorksManager,The car will be taken on next week to their workshop by lending a Loaner car for thorough check up for the rattling issues and change the Seat Belt Assembly.
may be, This time, they will do a good job.
Even i am not ready to send/repair the car without my presence.
but due to time constraint,i am tended to do this.
I have little trust on VST.Let's wait.

Default Trip to Bangalore

One of the finest trip in my life.
Total Distance : 735.1kms (75% highway and 25% City)
Diesel Consumed: 39.92 lts
Mileage: 18.41kmpl.
Rs for a km : 1.90
High speed attained : 165kmph.(keep this speed for more than 5mts)
Overall speed : 65kms

The car is very well composed in any speed.
By using the right gear, car is moving like a Loco.
With 5 adults onboard,we have roamed entire B'lore.
Linea scrapped with almost every speed breakers in B'lore city, though the speed breakers are very heap(I don't know how the people in B'lore won't compliant to the authority.)
I have dragged with Benz C220 and a poor Petrol Accent.
The car simply took a curve in 160kmph speed without any hassle.Felt no vibrations in the steering.
Benz guy has seen Linea with little envy.
The best thing is,a Tata Indica Taxi was given a tough competition.
He simply drove his car in 120+kmph and keep up our cars speeding as convoy.
Even no one inside the car aware of the speed and the turning.
It's addicted to throw the car in High speed cornering.
I am very much enjoying the whole trip especailly with the car i have chosen.
Seen a lot of Linea's in Bangalore than Chennai.Spotted some 8 cars.
It's better than the Best

Bangalore is the speed breaker city !!! There are two to three in every road and all badly designed ones !!!

I am supposed to get my Linea next week and I have already planned my commute to office in such a way that I avoid all roads with badly designed breakers even if I need a travel a bit more.

Hi Karthik, It is great that you enjoyed the trip, but my suggetion is to drive at reasonable speeds. Indian Highways are not meant for any speed greater than 80KMPH. i do not think it is safer to drive faster than 110 KMPH on any road in India as the gradient, curves, dividers, cross overs are not designed for high speed driving.

more over other drivers are also not following the discipline. eventually it is a free for all, so it could be dangerous for any one.

ya thanx,
But i used to drive in 80-110kmph only.
some times i have done 160+ kms.if i feel the road is good and no visible traffic ahead for a quite long stretch.

Linea @ 80kmph in 5th gear gives the maximum mileage. But i tell you the feet often itches as the car is a dream to drive......

once you have experienced 160kmph,you can't able to ride in 80kmph.
it's like crawling in 80kms.
perhaps,it will give good mileage in 80kms band.
But for me riding pleasure is more wanted than FE.so 100-120kmph is my permissible speed and even these speeds itself our car give >19kmpl with 100% AC.
What else everyone needs?

Car finally came with replaced Seat Belt Assembly.
Now there is no squeaking noise from the rear.
The car is super silent. The real culprit is Seat Belt Assembly only.
Asusual VST Service Guys played and practised in my car.thought of asking some money for using my car for their skills betterment
Some of the screw/clips were not in place.I knew it is inside the car itself.
So i searched for and got and placed it in the original position.
Rest everything is Ok.

The part changed is inside the casing and not visible.part where the seat belt is attached in the parcel tray.
Any how i'll post the photo.

Speaker jarring is common in all Linea.
I personally checked in new Linea Cars using the same USB and Song.
I heard jarring in above 10 sound level.
For better SQ,we need to change the speakers.

Few days back, I stuffed rear seat belts below the seats. They are never used & hence did it.
Is it OK to do it?
