VP, nothing wrong if none is using it.
Infact, my seat belts are permanently under the seats.

Oops.

But till date there is no rattling at all. Not with the seat belts below the seat nor with seat belts in usual outside position

Default WindShield Sunfilm :(

Yesterday i went to Xenos galleria for installing Front Sunfilm.
But it all gone to vain.
After spend more than 3 hours, guys were done their job with SolarGard HP Sterling 60 sunfilms and took my car out from the dust free installation room and parked under sunlight.
After paid the bill and checked the car. Some of the film in the lower portion were come apart.
Asked the installation guy and the Manager of the shop,Inst. guy used hot blower ad refixed it.
After that,i took my car to my freinds house.while driving,i heard my wife yelling, that the sunfilm is coming out again.
I stopped in my friends house and called Manager,Xenos.
He asked me take the car back to their place.
I went back and they did some gimmicks. But nothing was fruitful.
Finally they decided to peel off and plan to install it again on coming Sunday if the day will be sunny.
I don't know what is the issue?
Might be wrong installation or wrong Sunfilm or my FATE :(
I simply wasted some 6 hours for this alone.
Awating sunday for a new installation.

Really sad to hear that. This could be due to the quality of the sunfilm.
Get it reinstalled again on sunday, provided only you have bright sunshine (its raining in Chennai).

Default VST Motors,Chennai

To my fate,i heard some rattling from the rear.
I was amused and upset to service this car with VST guys.
They have not fitted the rear parcel tray properly.
There is a huge gap and whenever car goes over potholes,it's vibrating like anythingand make rattling noise.
I have kept a paper roll in the gap and temporarily that noise was stopped but able to hear some squeaking.
I don't know whether VST Service guys know how to handle the car.
If Siddha,CSM or Ramalingam,Works Manager,VST are not here to help me,I would never go to VST again.
Simply sell my car and buy Honda or maruti product for peace of mind.
Spending almost 10 lakhs,i just expect a rattle free car.
But with those guys in VST Service,i definitely won't get what i needed
Once they enter the car, they simply spoil the interiors and no proper cleaning is happening before delivery.
Everytime i have spent a good time to clean the car after getting back my car from delivery.
I have reported it n times. But nothing has changed.
Already heard a lot of issues with Concorde and Tafe.
Simply thinking where to go for servicing and fixing small issues.

Chennai Guys,
we plan a meeting near future and finalize what extend we can fight with those irritating guys and step forward and communicate some heads of Fiat and ensure whether all the issues will be fixed.
Otherwise we sell our car atonce and convey the news to every daily and news channels and form a group to protest FIL.
Feedback please

Karthik, i am in the process to speaking to some guys in FIAT to come down to Chennai (on similar lines of Car and Coffee meet). I am not sure if i will be successful.

>>>> SunilRJ, VP (Amit), you guys have some good contacts at FIAT. Could you guys inform them that there are some real issues on the A.S.S front at Chennai. I see the issue only at Chennai.

Default Finally....

After a week,SolarGard WindShield Sun film has been installed in my car.
Xenos Service people had come to my place with all required tools and started installing Sunfilm by 1PM and completed by 3PM.
Linea Windshield is little bit curvy and not easy to reach the bottom because of the design.
They struggled little bit and finally ended up with good installation.
I had asked them to stay back for some more hours to check whether it will peel off like last time.
I had parked my car outside and directed to sunlight.
Sunfilm peeled from the bottom after 30mts the main issue is the blackened Dots in the ends of the windshield.
Sunfilm was unable to paste there comfortably.some air has gone into it.
After some hot airgun treatement it settled back.
I had left the car full day and take my car today to my office.
Still some water dispersed here and there.
It takes a week to settle down.
As of now,There's no peeling.Days to go.
Definitely it's worthy to have windshield Sunfilm that's too from Xenos(SolarGard).
Visibilty is good and No idea about night vision.
I'll let you know once i drive in the evening.
Happy Driving

Hi sorry to divert the topic a bit. I've booked Linea Petrol Emotion Pk and have asked for Flamenco Red color. Was a bit hesitant about dark colours initially. Does anyone have feedback on whether this colour has any problems etc? My second choice is medium grey and hopefully dealer would allow the change if I confirm by today. Expert advices solicited.

Thanks.

Definitely you take some extra car if go for dark colors.
The dusts/swirls are easily visible compare to light colors.
IMO,anytime dark colors suit sedans.
I too keen on booking Black Linea. But faced lot of no no's from my family so decided with Minimum Grey.

Default A-Pillar Stickers

Hi All,

I have ordered for A-Pillar stickers for my linea about a week back.
It was ruined while installing Sunfilms. So i asked xenos to reimburse the money i spend towards and they too accepted

It is fixed only by 3M guys/sunfilm experts.VST,CSM told me that they send service Guy and a 3M guy to my place and fix it by Wednesday probably.

Nice to have a service like this.took only 4 days to get the stickers indented.Good Work VST .

But the real deal is fixing the stickers.Hope they will do it correctly.

Default Nitrogen Filled

Today i have filled Nitrogen from IOCL petrol bunk.
though it's totally free for Premium/Xtra petrol or Diesel filling only.
I managed to got it free

They have a ELGI machine which creates Nitrogen from air and it's >99% pure.
First they set up 60 seconds to deflate the 100% air from the tyres and refill with Nitrogen.take some 2-3 minutes for a tyre.

Check the Machine.Sorry for the picture quality.

For this Refill I have got 14.4 kmpl.

524.2 kms with 36.32 lts Diesel = 14.43 kmpl
(100% AC and 100% City driving)

Shell Diesel really gives more mileage than IOCL by .5 kmpl.
Unfortunately Shell increased Diesel price.
So this time i filled in IOCL.

A-Pillar stickers has arrived and price is Rs.600 for Single Side.

Karthik,

You mean to say that NITROGEN filling is free on this bunk if you fill in with premium diesel or petrol? Where is such a pump in Delhi? Its always xtramile for my Scorp and never got free nitrogen.
