Hay karthik how is the car doing now apart from wheel alignment ie about the dampers is the noise there or fine, cos even my car started to get the noise on the left side and i am damn sure that something to do with shocks on the left.

Other linea owners any problem on the shocks ???

Default Tipper kissed my lilnea with LOVE :)

Today morning while coming to office,I had a small mishap.
I met small bang from a lorry in a heavy traffic near butt road junction in Ramapuram Chennai.
Got some scratches in the Rear right fender and covers with Yellow paint from the lorry.
I was got tensed and asked the lorry driver to come down.
He apologized his fault and i treid to clean the paint with water soaked cotton.
It disappeared leaving some small scracthes and some paint chip which is not visible easily.
May be some waxing will do the trick.
I adviced him to drive safely and asked to leave.

Today started with Good Luck

Default Screeching Noise from Dampers

Though i changed the dampers still I am getting the same screeching noise again today.
Might be coming from left damper
Already we checked ManMachine's car and he has the same issue in the left side dampers and will be changing it by today or tomorrow.

Everyday my car meets some 10+ speed Breakers in DLF building.
That's why i was able to identify it easily.

Anyone of our members have the same issue.
Heard VST motors already changed both dampers for a car.

Waiting for the call from Sidha,CSM for finalizing it.

No idea when can i put a full stop for all these niggling issues.

I have the same issue from the rear right shock and sounds exactly how karthik has mentioned it. Showed it to the service advisor couple minutes back. The car is going there tomorrow

+ me too. Will know what is going to be changed tomorrow. It could be a combination of the shocks and dirt in the bushings.

Same here. my office is like 5 minutes. But the route is perfect for all unique noises to pop up.

I think im going to just inform the dealer to pick my car up every alternate saturday to fix the little niggles.

The other day on the highway my car hit a deep pothole on the left and it didnt sound very good. It was solid thrash. Anyway couple kms ahead i slowed down and was crawling in traffic in 2nd hear and i heard a loud shudder similar to the abs shudder and also vibration in the clutch pedal and gear shifter. This was coming from the right hand side (opp side from where the car hit the pothole). Spoke to the service advisor about it and he mentioned some plate under the car must be bent and causing this. This happens always in 2nd gear when the car is crawling in traffic or slowing down sometimes. Any clues?

Karthik, I am curious to know how many times your car has gone to the service station ever since you bought it? :-) It looks like you are spending an awful lot of time there with all kinds of niggling issues.

Hi Karthik,

Good that your Linea + Tipper's love story ended with just a kiss
and some minor scratches. No dents (inward or outword)

my incident was not so lucky, ended up in damages
i am sure these bikers will never learn.

thanks for your message in my thread.

Got a call from Sidha,CSM,TATA.
First of all he apologized for the bad things happened in VST.
He asked me to come by next week as he is going to outstation.so that he can personally check the issue and screw up VST guys and fix it without any hassle.
Issues
1.Dampers
2.Bonnet Bulges
3.Driver Seat Assembly

So i am planning to visit VST by next week only.
I already applied leave for next week as i have a plan to drive to GOA by Linea with friends. But changed/dropped the plan
So i use those days with my Linea in Service Station.

Have some idea in mind.
Just get a job in VST itself and is easy to fix my issues in a fly.
What guys,Good Idea na?

ManMachine,
What about you?
Got any call from Works Manegar Ramalingam ?

karthik, how was the rear-parcel shelf rattle fixed?

Idunno man, all this dampers, shocks etc ... how come petrol Lineas don't have these problems? Is it because the weight of MJD engine is more?
