1.Changed the Anti Roll Bars + Glove Box alignment + Door Handle in Rear left door adjusted.

2.Steering Wheel Noise + Door pad rattling fixed by adding misplaced Door clips, happened at the time of Sunfilm installation + MudFlaps installed + Ist Service

3.Repainted Bonnet after fixing the Bulges + Changed Rear Seat Belt Assembly

4.A pillar Sticker installed + Parcel Tray Issue Fixed

5. Front Driver Side Dampers changed in Shocks.
Karthik,

All these changes + to be changed - Seat Height Assmebly + Replacing Bonnet.

And I thought I got most things changed in my Linea. Naah !!

BTW, any idea whether Fiat has made any money in our cars ?

Idunno man, all this dampers, shocks etc ... how come petrol Lineas don't have these problems? Is it because the weight of MJD engine is more?

we changed the Seat Belt Assembly and placed a full sheet of soft material like sponge in the entire parcel shelf.
Now there's no rattling as before.

Might be because of the weight in the front.
But i don't think so even FIAT missed this in their R&D.
Seems,Some of the ealier batch cars have this problem.
My Streak also from the same batch.FATE

For me Seat Height Assembly is working perfectly.
But the only issue is the lever which intrudes while ingress & egress.
So planned to change it.

Reg.Bonnet.hmmm what to say?
Those guys told me it's because of pressing the bonnet while closing it.
But i am not ready to buy this word.
Earlier also they said the same story and i gave them a good bash,After that they repainted the bonnet.
But now,I am not ready to fix the bulges and repaint it again.
There is an alignment issue in my bonnet, which may contact with the some other parts day by day and make this bulges outtward.
I want Bonnet replacement.Thats the only fixation permanently.

Already we checked ManMachine's car and he has the same issue in the left side dampers and will be changing it by today or tomorrow.

Everyday my car meets some 10+ speed Breakers in DLF building.
That's why i was able to identify it easily.

Anyone of our members have the same issue.
Heard VST motors already changed both dampers for a car.

Waiting for the call from Sidha,CSM for finalizing it.

No idea when can i put a full stop for all these niggling issues.
I had earlier changed my link rod for some tight rubbing kind of sound (very low though) while turning steering at stationary. Since then I had not driven on bad roads. Recently, some sort of squeaking sound came from somewhere right front part whenever I was in some uneven cross tilted surface. I thought that was loose plastic squeak. In last weekend long drive, it became prominent and started giving more squeaking sound even on plain whenever the road was not smooth. The sound looked more and more from below rather than the inside plastic as the journey progressed. I had given to Concorde Motors yesterday. Awaiting for report. I hope this is not something permanant nuisance.

BTW, I also got my car from the first few slots, in fact, one of those who booked on the first/second day of booking opening, even before the official launch. Not sure if the first few cars specific problem or one-off case. After reading your thread, I was just contemplating.

TASS visit competition, you and Amit are in full competiton now. He has even made a list of visits LOL.
Thats a lot of things you got changed, this noise from the front is a long known noise by TASS. You got anti roll bars changed again? Werent they changed a few months back.

Whatever it is but now its a fact that only MJD are facing such issues from dampers, anti roll bars etc. Chrome falling and wiper nozzles coming out is small things and DIY but dampers failing so early shouldnt have happened.

Fiat making money? Nah, they are spending from their pockets i think. Dampers and shocks are expensive things and they have provided a extended warranty too, aage kya hoga

Most old Linea owners like SSN and DOWNSOUTH (petrol) havent faced any issues as such with their cars but MJD owners are getting recurrent issues. Hope these problems are just in earlier batches and new parts have trouble free run.
Which month was your car manufactured? Mine is Feb09, 1 visit to TASS for seat height adjuster change and thats it.

I still remember those days when you were pissed off with anti roll bars change and your new car was facing trouble. I had postpones my buying decision for sometime and today am happy with the car with 4000+ kms completed, all thanks to tbhp Linea owners.

Coolboy007,
The Anti Roll Bars is changed for different issue.
The current issue is a Squeaking noise while riding over potholes and speed breakers.
But I am not sure whether it's a problem with strut parts or some other plastic parts in the engine or shocks bay.
Might be i'll get it fixed by next week in the presence of TATA,CSM.
We planned to go for a Test Drive and find the problem and getting it solved.
Waiting for that day.

I got the car back. Can't believe that it has become so quiet again. Relieved

Ok. They changed only the anti-roll bar.

aks_karthik, I also had similar issue. Problem in pot holes or bumps or in tilted body positions due to uneven surface, such as during climbing a ramp with turns. That time, it looked as if the front dash board plastics were squeaking. Later when the sound became prominient on even plain bad patches of road, it became clear that it was not in the plastic.

Ok. So, far more khushi less gam. Let me see how it fares. A lot of long drives on different roads coming in these long weekends.

By the way, I also met another guy, whose MJD Linea was 4 months and coming for 15000 Km service. He has not faced any issue. I also met those lines of lineas driving out for the evening delivery. The one in dark grey driving out in front of my eyes!! Wow! I always wanted that car. Idiots! They didn't launch that color from the begining.

Still I am not getting feedback from Sidha,CSM,Tata Motors.
He called me and he has spoken with FIAT for the Bonnet Bulges.
But FIAT guys were replied him that it happened because of the customer handling the bonnet roughly.
But i haven't opened it once.
But he answered them with my mail and all sequence happened earlier and now with photos.
Awaiting for them to reply as i need to replace the Bonnet for sure.
