Default Finally....

Recieved a mail from Sidha,TATA CSM.
They will be replacing my bulged bonnet under warranty.
Already VST has placed an order.
I'll be informed once it's available.
Good effort and support from Sidha and Mr.Ramalingam,VST Works Manager.
Hat's off.

Wishing the same support from them ever.

Default Trip to Tirunelveli

Hi All,

Had a nice trip to my native and came back.
Totally 1350 kms and got 20.6kmpl with 100% Ac and 20% of City driving too and 4 passengers with full luggages.driven at a steady pace between 100 and 120 kmph.

As we know, linea is well planted in any roads and drive is awesome asusual.

But had faced some issues.

1.Hazard light assembly in the centre console broke and the entire strip of buttons (Rear Fogger and some dummy buttons) gone in.might be inside clips has been kaput.

2.The same Rear seat belt assembly rattling.defn needs a replacement again.

3.Wheel alignment is still not accurate.already did it 2 times in VST,Chennai.

4.some squeaking noise from driver and co-passenger seats while travelling over bad roads.

5.Rubber clips in the boot is missing.2 clips near the closing area.

6.Bonnet has to be replaced, because of bulges.

Yes the clips holding the strip of buttons are iffy kind of types. We were told during delivery only to be careful with them. Anyway I think there would be spare clips at your TASS.

Default Clutch Slave Cylinder replaced

Hi All,

My car has gone to service station for Bonnet replacement and some other small niggles.
Got a call from VST manager that my Clutch Slave Cylinder is also replaced and my car Vin no is there in their list.
I don't know, why they replaced mine as i don't find any issues in clutch and gears.

Default Happy Customer of VST,Chennai.

Got the car back.
I was really amazed on seeing my car.
It's cleaned very well including the engine bay and interiors.
This is what every customer expects from Service Station.
Hazard light console also refitted and steering aligment done perfectly.
But still i am getting rattling from Rear.for this i have to shown to them personally while i am going there for fixing New Bonnet.
Gudos to VST,Chennai
Strongly recommend to everyone.

Congrats Karthik. I think after quite a long time, you've got a good service. Pics of the bonnet would help.
I will visit VST once before i take any decisions.

Blue&Me doesn't support A2DP. For being a slave in A2Dp, Blue&Me will need to bye pass phone functions which is not implemented presently. You can go through the manual here http://www.lancia.com/LANCIA_COM/upl...ser_Manual.pdf

Default Finally crossed 10000 kms

Hi All,

Crossed 10K mark after a long time.
It's pleasure to drive a FIAT car especially linea.
Everybody in my family now a days use Linea for outings.
My parents and wife are really enjoying the comfort of Rear and Co-passenger seat and Gizmos.
Have done a lot of long drives, but never been struck anywhere.
Got an amazing FE which makes all my friends and relatives jealousy
Usually getting 15 - 15.3 kmpl in City with 100% AC and 20-20.7 kmpl in Highway with 100% AC.

some irritating factors:

1. Rattling here and there.lack of quality in Plastic and Clips used.
2. Bonnet Bulges ,Seat Belt Assembly creaking.(Taken care by TASS by replaced parts)
3. Power would have been little more in 1st and 2nd gears (Lower rpms).
4. Definitely need improvement in Service and Spare availability.

rest everything is joyful and I pat myself to chose this wonderful Car.

Blue & Me - I use this fullest and very useful feature.
Brake - good and ABS do its duty without fail.
Shocks - No need to write about it.you can feel once you drive.like gliding over cloud.
Engine - Gem.Good FE and silent.will improve after 2nd service and oil change
Steering Wheel - Very precise and obeys your order while driving.
Headlight - powerful and double barrel looks very chunky.
Seat - Very comfortable and fits our body line.never got tired in longdrives.

planning to upgrade with Pete's Box ,Leather Seats ,Navigation Systems and SunRoof.

Thanx for everyone in this forum to give good support and explanation for my needs.

Enjoy and Drive Safe

Congrats Karthik.
Even i crossed 10000 kms on Christmas day. I have crossed this in just 6 months whereas with my earlier cars it took 12 months.

I never knew i would be crusing in my Linea so much. Would have bought the diesel engine if this was the case. Absolute delight to drive.

Hope we both cross 15000 at the same time.
