Default Filled N2 again

Hi All,

Today i filled Nirogen again in my SilverStreak.
For last 2 weeks i had been using Normal Air with 33 and 30psi Front and Rear respectively.
Now 30 and 27 psi of nitrogen entered into my Linea tyres as per my findings for a smooth ride.
This is the right time to check the Nitrogen, whether it gives cushioning ride comparatively with Normal Air.

Im planning to fill nitrogen tomorrow. So, shall i go on with 30 and 27 psi?

yep,
I tried filling with usual 33 and 30 psi, then with 30 psi in all tyres.
All were Bumpy and not smooth as per my liking.
Finally ended with 30 and 27psi for City driving.
For Highway/Full Load,I usually fill 30 psi in all tyres.
Just fill while tires are in cold state.

Yes,I think so.
But I am very much comfortable with 30 and 27psi.
Ride is very smooth even in adulterant roads.

It is subjective binze and karthik. try a few combination of tyre pressures with n2 and then use what you are comfortable with thats all !!!

Thumbs down Bonnet Alignment & Bulges Again

In my New bonnet,i have found some misalignment & Bulges.
I have seen a lot of Lineas and every Bonnet is little bit misaligned.
I got the Bulges again and No idea how i will stop this non sense.
Might be because of this misalignment.
Already informed VST and Sidha,CSM,TATA.They promised me to do the needful either by repainting or with a new bonnet.
They too surprised. But the Bulges is very much there in the same places as the last time.
But i am very much bored with this activity :(
Let's see.

It is really frustrating to see the bonnet bulges back in your car. have you even analysed what is causing them

In medical fraternity there is a saying. they say " doctors should treat the cause of pain rather than treating the pain per se forit not to come back later"
i believe it is no use repairing the bonnet bulges again and again, if they cannot find the cause

Yes, Very frustrating.
I told them,i'll be coming over there to service station for 2nd service by March 2010 only and asked them to do the replacement or re-paint bonnet that time itself.
Currently the Bulges are not eye sore. But investing around 10lakhs and drive a car with bulges is not inviting.
The Driving pleasure vanishes every other agony in FIAT Linea.

Its weird. Why is it happening again and again and again. Mystery !!

Is this Bonnet replaced or are you using the stock one after repairs ?
If it is a new one, then its a mystery.

Root cause is what is needed to find out. Put pressure on VST and Fiat.

It's a New one painted in VST paint booth.
Seems the new one is skimpy in thickness but am not sure though.
Paint is also not good.it should be better.
I spoke with VST and possible i'll go there this Saturday to show them.
Frustrating,But have to live with it

Hi aks_karthik, even I have noticed the bonnet bulging in my parents Linea as well. The color is Flamingo Red. There are 2 small bulging in bonnet. I have informed the TASS guys, but no response. Moreover, I'm 64 KMS away from TASS. Its not practical to travel that distance frequently to visit TASS. Sorry, no pictures now. What have you done to get it corrected ?

My Linea had the bonnet bulges only on the left side, now it is there on the right as well. Plus the shocks (both front and back) have started grating when going over speed-breakers .

Gears,
Red-One.

RF has a service centre in Alleppey, I am sure, you know that. Focuz Motors have a service centre too, but am doubtful whether they take care of Fiat vehicles.
