Had done around 1300kms to my native.
Asusual the trip was well composed with Linea.
I got 20.2 kmpl (Trip Meter) with 100% AC.

The only irritating part is,
There's a wind noise/vibration heard from the area near OVRM's.
I haven't heard it before may be i missed to notice it.
Without music system on.the sound is very prominent.
Is there any way to reduce or cut that noise.

They struggled little bit and finally ended up with good installation.
I had asked them to stay back for some more hours to check whether it will peel off like last time.
I had parked my car outside and directed to sunlight.
Sunfilm peeled from the bottom after 30mts the main issue is the blackened Dots in the ends of the windshield.
Sunfilm was unable to paste there comfortably.some air has gone into it.
After some hot airgun treatement it settled back.
I had left the car full day and take my car today to my office.
Still some water dispersed here and there.
It takes a week to settle down.
As of now,There's no peeling.Days to go.
Definitely it's worthy to have windshield Sunfilm that's too from Xenos(SolarGard).
Visibilty is good and No idea about night vision.
I'll let you know once i drive in the evening.
Happy Driving
Karthik, interested to know your feedback on the sunfilm, thanks.

Bnzjon,

Windshield Sunfilm from Xenos is really VFM.
Now a days i used to travel in daytime.
Windshield Sunfilm is very efficient and we can easily feel the difference.
if you plan to install try in Xenos.
check thoroughly after installing it.

Another trip to my native and crossed 13500+ kms.
got very good FE 20.7kmpl and usual comfortable journey.
As said earlier, some rattling and sounds come all over in the car.
might be visiting VST Motors this saturday and check the issues and Bonnet Bulges too.

Karthik, thanks.
I am desperate to install the sunfilm soon. Last summer was very tough even in the months of aug-oct.
The AC is ineffective when the outside temperature crosses 35+

I am planning for 3M CR70. After reading your reviews and the good service from Subbu(xenos) is tilting me towards Xenos.

I am keeping a watch over the insurance issue as my insurance too will be up for renewal in april.

It is always better to choose a insurance which has a cashless tie up facility with your respective workshop

It is always also better to choose an insurance in which you know people who can help you in claim if you have one.

During my delivery of the car concorde had offered me insurance from TATA AIG . But i was able to decline it and arranged my own insurance from bajaj Allianz after making sure that concorde has a cashless tie up with them. It saved me 1k too in the same IDV. I chose bajaj allianz as i have a very known patient to me who can help me in resolving any claim quick.

Just let me know if you are interested and want his number!!!

IMHO it is always better to bargain a couple of insurance and then settle down , so get a quote from all possible companies and check out who gives you a lesser premium for higher IDV

Just got a Quote from Bajaj Allianz

IDV - Rs.7,00,000
Driver and Paid Driver as a mandatory
4 passangers insured for Rs.100000 individually
Total Premium - Rs.14750

They too have additional policy called Zero Depreciation. But they have add 10% of IDV with the premium Amount
i.e for me it comes around Rs 21750.
But it's bumper to bumper coverage and there is no depreciation for plastic and metal things.
Everything is 100% covered.
we have to give only the Default claim amount Rs. 500
I am also thinking to avail this policy though spending some more amount.

Aswin,
Possible please check with you known person in Bajaj Allainz.

if you have already solved this problem then please ignore this post.

wind-noise near ORVMs - could be the design of the ORVMs - which helps in deflecting wind at high speed - aerodynamics ?? (sorry! i am not good at this) - you can check if the wind noise is there by closing the ORVM and driving at a speed at which the noise appears.

or it could be a loose part inside the ORVM cluster.
