Hi Karthik. I had read this thread earlier. I am not sure I want to try it on a new car. if it was my old Uno (already sold) I would've given it a try. However, I am inclined towards using it in my bike.

Default B'lore Official Trip

gone to Bangalore day before yesterday for Official work for a day.
started by 6 AM from Chennai and reached back at 10PM.
Flyover between Electronic City and Silk Board is really a boon without traffic chaos.
spend some Rs.300 as Toll Fee(To and Fro).I bought Multiple Entry which saves some Rs.100+.
Asusual car was very well paved and got around 19kmpl with 100% AC including 100kms of city driving.
Due to ABS, i was saved from a trailer lorry which just crossed my lane without indication.that time i was doing 120 kmph.
Once applied brake, there was no screeching sound or any skids.
it simply stopped within 10+ meters.
Amazing car and i patted myself for selecting this beauty.
Overall i enjoyed driving my Silver Streak.

^^ Thanks for the update. Glad to know that the Linea is treating you well. Braking and high speed composure is something that the Punto and the Linea share.
Perfect for these long drives.

Default Car BiGGGGGGGGGGGG Car :)

Again a wonderful trip to my Native Town and back with Silver Streak and Brother's Red Petrol Emotion Pack Punto on 5 May 2010.
Silverstreak has crossed 18000 Kms in 1.2 years.
Celebrated by Son's Naming Ceremony and returned back to Chennai with My son,as this was his first long trip in his Silver Streak.
Overall travelled 1350kms and as usual i got almost 20kmpl with 100%Ac including 20% city drive.
while returning i had dumped almost all things in the boot.

My parents were not ready to believe that all things had gone inside.
My dad told,Every penny spent towards this car is worth.Now-a-days he is very much comfortable travelling long trips in Linea than trains.my son too .
once he entered in the car he is smiling like anything and enjoying each and every seconds.
He likes the music and watching through windows and he easily recognize Silver Streak.
we tried in so many other cars, But he is much composed once he is in Silver Streak.
Through out our family are enjoying Linea and my Brother's Punto.
Day by Day Respect and Love towards Linea is growing like a Sky.
Keep Enjoying and riding my Linea.
Enjoy and Drive Safe

No need for movers & Packers.

congrats man on your new buy..
Linea is a very good car.. dont worry about the initial sluggishness.. it will go away as soon as you do about 2500K on the odo.
Its a tough build car and will make you proud and your neighbors jealous..
Enjoy!!

And its amazing
thats actually a huge load of luggage your linea gobbled up
kudos to fiat for providing the biggest boot on a sedan!

both the above traits are trademark FIAT, all FIAT cars get better with age... patience during initial running period is enough for people to enjoy FIAT cars for a long time....

enjoy your FIAT mate... really appreciate good feedback like this .... it just helps dispel so much negativity surrounding FIAT ...

i feel for those guys who would not have experienced a FIAT... more than love i have deep respect for FIAT engineers who put so much of a emotional quotient into their cars.... LONG LIVE FIAT cars & their engineers.. they really build their cars with passion.....

Hey Karthik,
Congrats on crossing the 1 yr mark and 18K on the odo. Got back my car after the 15k service on saturday.. The 2nd service amount came to 5341/- for me. How much did your cost for the 2nd service.

Default Remarkable Fuel Efficiency

For this fill i got 14.74 kmpl which is 100% city driving with AC and too often we used it as a AC room as my son was inside with my parents while me and wife were shopping.
I had completed 18k mark too.

Total KMS : 492.5
Fuel Consumed : 33.4 lts
Kms / litre : 14.74 (15.1 Odo Measurment)

I have tested using Tank Fill method.

Default AC issue and New Scratches

While returning from my trip to native yesterday i have faced an unique issue.
when the Low Fuel indicator turned on and i cranked the engine and switched on the AC But the compressor didn't start and after fueling,it started automatically.
I don't know whether it's a feature in Linea.when ever it reaches Low Fuel it automatiicaly cuts off compressor for Fuel saving.

I got a good scratch in the Bumper due to a hit in the stone laid in the road side.
Didn't see it properly in the narrow road.FATE

Some notorious child tried his hands on painting in my Right Front & Rear doors.
No idea how to fix it.

Tomorrow i plan to go to VST for fixing Bonnet and someother issues.
have to speak with paint booth inchanrge and try to fix the scratches without burining my pocket.

Enjoy and Drive Safe

How much does the tank take beyond the auto stop?
