Default 60000 Kms/ 5th Service.

I have sent my car for 5th Service @ VST Service, Chennai.
They have changed all Fluids except Power steering Oil as it's unavailable on Monday and all Filters and bill came as Rs. 11000.
The main difference is in Fuel Filter as it's increased to Rs.2087 from earlier Rs.1700.
At 2nd Service, Fuel Filter costed only Rs.826 with Sensors and 3 & 4 Service it costed Rs.1768 and now it increased to Rs. 2087.
Rest everything is same.
I have requested to clean Power Windows channel, Brakes and greasing Door joints and Shocks.

Many many happy returns of the day to your Silver Streak (pictures for the birth day celebrations).

I can see you are very much emotionally attached to your car (as many of the TBHPians over here) & it has become a part of your family. You take care of her & she will return the warmth & happiness with twice much vigour. Enjoy

Default Tyres Upgradation.

Time to change the Tyres in My SilverStreak.
As already decided, Plan to go for MRF ZLO 195/60/15. Already have MRF ZLO in my Stephny.
Just my friend has checked with Lal Tyres, Chennai.

Tyre cost - Rs. 4500 (4500*4) = 18000
Wheel Alignment - Rs. 400
Wheel Balancing - Rs. 800 (4 wheels)
Total - Rs.19200

They will give out something for older tyres once it's removed from the alloys.

Guys, Is it a Good Deal as I haven't enquired with other shops in Chennai.

Finally changed the all 4 tyres to MRF ZLO 195/60/15 at Lal Tyres, Chennai today.
Paid Rs. 19000 for 4 Tyres , Wheel Balancing & Alignment.
Looks good and have more grip than I expected, might be I am used to old bald Tyres.

Default 3000 Kms Trip to Native & Kerela

Hi All,

Had a very Nice rejuvenating Trip to my Native & Kerela with my Family.

Chennai - Tirunelveli - Madurai - Calicut - Cochin - Alappuzha - Tirunelveli - Chennai + City drive.

The First Highway trip after changing the tyres to MRF ZLO 195/60/15.
I have pat myself for selecting a really worthy Tyres instead of Michelin PLC or other brands in the Market.
MRF ZLO is worthy for every penny I spent.
Tyre is very grippy in dry & wet as well as very soft.
Even Me & family was not felt the bumpiness as in OEM Goodyear GT3tyres, it almost swallowed all road surface adulaterations and we had a very smooth drive through out Tamilnadu and Kerela roads.
No sagginess in cornering which gave me more confidence to attacked the corners in good speed.
I was really amazed on grip while driving in ghats section. Linea was just gliding the roads with her new Footwear and seems she too enjoyed it a lot.

Once reached speed more than 120 kms, I heard same kind of tyre noise (Little lower) as GoodYear GT3 as i used to the noise so not bothering much.
but lower speed, Noise is muted.

I am now the fan of MRF and I was very much skeptical on MRF before changing to ZLO. But after reading numerous positive feedback and by Nikhil (tyre Guru) I went and changed to ZLO.
Already 5 of our T-Bhpians changed their tyres to ZLO at Lal Tyres on my good word.
I strongly recommend our members to try MRF ZLO and you won't regret

Changed my Brake Pads from Ramkay Fait Today.
I bought Roulunds Brake Pads from 77RPM long back.
I shelved out some 375 Rs. To change the pads and done other checking and cleaning
Brake is good and needs some settling time.
Will update after some 100 kms.
