Silver and Black colors are readily available in Xenos galleria.
if you need other colors, they will do it for 500 bucks extra and takes 4 days.

aks_karthik, Did you get the car cover? Concord says both mats and car cover are not available. In fact, no accessory is available currently but is on order? What about your dealer?

Gears,
Red-One.

Just travelled 1200+ kms to my native and came back to Chennai with 5 adults and fully loaded boot.
Got around 19.3 kmpl with 100% AC including 300+ city driving.
reached almost 175 kmph @ 4300+ rpm top speed. But little bit panic after 150 kmph.
Car was very solid at any speed.
But the only negative thing is ,it scraps bottom often even in small speed brakers and potholes.
need more care on passing speed brakers and potholes.
will add more on monday with some nice photos.
Crossed 2750 kms.

Excellent FE ( was it the trip comp or a manual calculation ? ). And good to hear that it goes till 175kmph without major hassles. I agree for GC, although it is an issue with several cars that have near bout GC, except the likes of SX4 etc.

Yep it's manual calculation(Tank fill method) .Trip comp shows 19.7kmpl only.
About GC,i used to travel the same stretch with WagonR,Accent Viva,Verna Crdi,M800 and Zen.
I never faced sraps/GC issue.

I usually did it in my Old WagonR/Indica.it screamed like anything and we felt under/over steer.
I think the European engineering comes to work on the handling part .

GROUND CLEARANCE!!!!!!!

Common check out civic and you will feel any car in india will have better ground clearance.

but the good thing with civic is within 2 or 3 hits you will understand how to avoid getting hit in bumps without reducing the speed. its like at first left side front tyre has to go over bump followed by right side front tyre and then comes back side tyres(first right & then left)..you will avoid these hits..

Yes both Civic and Linea have GC 160mm only.
But linea has little stiffened suspension setup than civic.
still Llinea hits almost all bumps when fully loaded (5 Adults with heavy load in trunk).
we can avoid it easily.but we need some extra car while driving in good speed.
roads in Country side and railway crossing have some big breakers and potholes.
we unable to avoid those without scracthing the bottom of our car.how much care we could have taken.

You have my NHC for company. In my recent trip to Tamil Nadu, I found that beyond a point (with 4 people and luggage) the car will scrape the speed breaker.

Wow ! I wonder how do you do that when its full-traffic. Linea does scrape when there is more load.

As mentioned, I think "Indianization" of the cars is a bit too on the optimistic side or rather they might have taken an average. ie how many of us will drive the car with 4+ adults in it vs. how much of time we spend alone or with one more in the car. Still would have preferred a wee bit more GC 170 maybe ?

Below are my few observations needed to be taken car at the time of First service.

1. Steering column creaking sound (very irritating)
2. Door Rattling (All doors especially Rear Left door. Panel gap is evident, so the vibrations)
3. Shock Absorbers (Heard a lot of booming sounds)
4. Door handle in Rear left (opening the door is cumbersome)
5. Boot Lid rattling sound (hear some noise while opening the boot using remote)
6. Fuel Lid is not working properly.
7. Glove box is not closed completely (Panel gap is evident)
8. Head light adjustments. High beam is not efficient in Highway driving.
Beam is fallen very near, so distance hurdles can not be seen.
9. Outside air/smoke will be coming in while AC recirculation is activated.
10. Screeching noise while braking in slow motion. (It’s not because of ABS. I tried some other car having ABS)
11. Speakers jarring to be checked.
12. Steering alignment is not appropriate.slight turns to the left.
13. Front bonnet has a bend near the nose.
14. A small scratch in the Left Front door and Front Bumper Underbody.need to repaint it.

Planned to give service by this week or next.

@aks_karthik: You should write to Fiat about these issue. Its a quality issue for sure. Whenever I go to service my Palio, lot of such minor issues I see in each Linea comes for service.

I also had this steering alignment issue. While car goes straight, steering was tilted slightly left side. & if you straighten the steering, car slightly goes to right side. Dealer sales exe first & then service advisors tried hard to convince me that its normal & the alignment machine is not detecting any gap. But I persisted & asked them to rectify it. They did it after 2-3 trials.
Am not facing other rattling/ squeaky noises yet or may be not noticed
