Clocked about 180 kms today on the highway, she was mighty stable at speeds over 120/130 and returned an overall FE of 18.5 with AC On all the time.
Just clings to the road at high speeds, quite comforting in the cabin. Man this thing is really built like a tank. I could see people staring and admiring when i stopped in for a break a couple of times.

I agree. The car always feel planted, tempting you to push it further. I am just waiting for the running in period to be over .
Those are amazing FE figures considering the speeds you have mentioned. As for the staring part you get used to it after sometime, but it is almost pleasantly embarrassing at times .

It denotes that the headlights are on. The blue comes on when the beam is on and there are two more orange ones for front and rear fos lamps.its a busy console

The difference is felt only if you constantly hop cars Eg. Drive a Santro and then Drive a Palio you'll feel the relative difference in clutch, and after 10 minutes of driving Palio again, the "heavy feeling" is gone
Very true
I have driven my Palio for 1.21lakh kilometers , i never felt the heavy feeling
