Congrats.
Metallic Sunlight Copper color is my favorite on swift.
It would look hot with some nice tints, fat rubber and atleast 15" wheels.

Anti-rust ok

Teflon has a few 'issues' like once applied small scratches cannot be buffed with a rubbing compound as the same will cause removal of the coating also.

Also some members have reported of cracks on the roof on car parked for extended periods in the sun.
when i enquired at the maruti showroom in the accessories division i was told that the entire set of six pillars can be changed to the ones in Vdi for 2500/-
iam trying to figure out how that can be done

Black stickers will cost about 300/-(A and B pillar). Is the dealership doing a paint job?

Congrats on the buy, a very practical choice. Drive carefully and this diesel will return fantastic mileage whether in city or highway. Change the stock tyres ASAP.

Stickers will be available in many shops but ensure execution is done correctly.

Default Delivery Taken!!

guyzz....

took delivery of my swift Ldi today on the auspicious occassion of hanuman jayanti.

first of all id like to take this opportunity to say a big THANX to teambhp.com which has given me sooo much knowledge about cars and which has helped me get a good customer for my fiat petra which other wise wouldnt have got me much in the used car market.

i was earlier thinking of buying a used car but the money left after paying off my petra loan was good enough to help me buy a new car.

buying experiance at navnit motors, thane was extreamly good and hassle free.
my previous experiance of buying a new car was at tata in 2005.compared to that this was like just smooth.
closed the deal with some free bies like mud flaps.floor mats, dickey mat, leather steering cover and perfume with one refill.

wanted the car today and was delivered to me as promised.
am posting some pics taken through my phone.will post better ones later.

drove to an accessories shop immediately and got xenos security system, sony xplod hu with front and rear door speakers, seat covers and sun film fiited.
am gonna do vinyling of the a and b pillars soon.

my decision on buying a swift ddis was based on my previous experiance of driving to goa in my friends vdi.i just enjoyed the torque and the smooth engine.

couldnt drive much today but the engine is literaaly sound less.i could feel the turbo kicking in at sppeds of 30-40kmph ( i dont have a tacho )
and just enjoyed it.

will post a detailed review later.....
