If these two are are not optional and standard fitments to the the LX, then it surely is heck of a value car.
More car per car.
Just thinking aloud.
If these features were really optional (which atleast gives a consumer the chance to choose the best features), this might very well be the Indian 'Smart Car'.!

Lightbulb thumbs up.

Car looks alright in the pictures. I'll save my final verdict for when I see one in person.

For starters, I'll want larger alloys, and that little exhaust pipe snaking it's way out of the rear bumper looks weirdly kinky - a nice stainless / chromed tip should sort that out though.

Why not have a list of customizable options? Start the base car off at Rs. 1 lakh or Rs. 1.5 lakh, and allow for some good customizable factory options for whoever's ready to pay a little over.

You probably saw the silver joshi automobiles Nano Lx that was on display in some parking lot, which resulted into unwanted attention from the MC. They impounded the car , however, on repeared requests from Joshi Autos' staff, it was driven to the MC office. Hence, either you saw it on road while it was being driven to the MC office here or when it was being driven to places for display by the Dealer.
Because, the test drives have are still not available for Nano at chandigarh.

since the fuel filler is in the boot located in the front a frontal impact could be damn dangerous.could lead to an immediate fire.
what do the experts have to say about this?

The nano has been extensively crash tested (including front impacts), the videos for which are available on the tube, and luckily no such matters were reported. Even the rear engined VW Beatles had fuel filler placed in the front and I don't think they suffered due to that.

Does anyone have interior pics of a fully loaded Nano? As in, with four grown men sitting inside it? I've seen videos with a single driver, but I'm curious as to how much legroom and overall comfort there really is when the whole family is bunged in.

Here are a few pics I found on googling, hope they serve the purpose.

Also pics with passengers/luggage. Sorry could not find one with full load of passengers.
Found one with turban wearing driver/reporter though.

Is this the Nano on display at Croma Phoenix? If yes then yeah a bunch of us team-bhp'ians checked out the same car a couple of weeks back after the Supercar Rally / Malaysian GP. We came away quite impressed as well. Did you notice the Bluetooth connectivity provided on the dash? This is the top model it seems, nice alloys.

Nice pics. I dont think Tata have compromised on the quality from the looks of it.

Can someone post pics of the underbody and engine bay / access to engine etc.
