I had downloaded the xls file uploaded in team-bhp sunfilm thread which gave me great insight about the comparison of sunfilm. I have judged the sunfilm of each brand by parameters of TLV, TSER,IRR, UVR.
Ashvin,

good choice of sunfilm . I went in for 3M as well but not the crystalline series. I think it was the RE35 - A little too light in hindsight but does a fab job. The RE 50 looks good

Looking at the stats, you had a great sun protection film at great price.

Will help many members to decide for their cars.

Nice info.

I have noticed a small non existant issue in my linea. When i cold start my vehicle i find the RPM meter showing a value close to 1500rpm
I have observed the same in my Linea too. Looks like its not an issue.
Linea (petrol) owners please confirm.

Default car maintenance

geash, your car looks awesome.
By the way, how long does this wax polish last?

I am cleaning my car every day (first wet cloth & then dry cloth) and its almost taking 30 min. I also wash the car every 2 weeks.

Does this 3M polishing help in reducing the pain in maintaining the car?

Geeash & Sharath,

On a cold start all vehicles will run at a slightly higher RPM than normal. This is completely normal.

As what I know, this due to the ECU setting in. One the ECU sets itself, the RPM will also settle down.

And this happens in all ECU controlled vehicles.

Enjoy your wonderful rides, guys!

+1 to that,

It is absolutely normal friends, on the cold start the RPM is higher and is controlled by ECU as the Engine Temparature rises the RPM decreases at idle.

She looks Stunning..!! take care of her
