Forgot to mention this.

Regular fuel in all major cities are now 91RON. Premium fuels do not have a higher RON number. They just have additives that the engine's fuel system may or may not like.

I was advised by the the sales consultant and service advisor of Honda dealer that Xtra premium is the fuel that need to be filled in. I am following the same.

The manual even says that the engine will idle at a higher RPM so that it comes to operating temperature as quickly as possible. This is for emissions and economy reasons.

I have to admit, I like watching the rev meter doing it's little dance.

'gratz on your trouble free experience.
Thanks very much Immo for your answer as well as greetings
indeed my 3 months of ANHC ownership was trouble free. I hope it will continue like that in future as well.

Yes, your URL link is right. But i did not buy from the URL. I bought it from a shop in SEG market, Shenzhen on saturday. i could negotiate free 8GB uSD card (costs 130 RMB), stand attachment (~20 RMB) along with the unit. If you want the address of the shop, please PM me.

In AUX In mode (=Audio out of the unit connected to AUX In of the car system), it uses the Car's built in speakers. i can also use Bass/Treble/balence/volume control from the car system. As the unit is also ON, we can also control the sound processing features of the unit and play from the either 8 GB (primary memory) + 8 GB (uSD). one can use all features of the unit.

In USB mode (=USB connector of the car system), the unit acts as a memory card only, able to play the Mp3/WMA/AAC files from the primary memory of 8 GB only No video is possible in USB mode

It does not have GPS.

Default User feedback of the ICE upgrade

I have now used the ICE upgrade for about 2 days. Thought of typing in some initial, top of the mind opinion

1. Had some anxiety whether this spontaneous purchase decision and installation will work or not as i was not very sure AUX is input or output from the system. Having seen it working is a relief.

2. Considering the delight on my daughter's face, i think the money is well spent. But having the right and new content inside the player on a real time basis seems to be a challenge, i am looking forward to it.

3. Having a video playing in front of you while driving is a distraction. Hence i am planning to use it only as a music player while i am driving alone. While on long drives, i plan to move the installation on rear right side window glass, which is seldom used. Unit would run on batteries for 6 hours (video play back time - i need to verify this). She can use headphones if required
so that rest of us can continue our conversation.

4. Video performance appears good, i did not see any lost frames or blockages, latency etc till now

5. Audio performance (while playing only music) appears to have boosted treble content. Might be due to some internal setting, need to check/adjust the same.

6. if the player is paused and then just switched off, it will take very long time to switch it on again, once it did not switch on. there is a RESET button (almost invisible) button on rear side, when pressed the unit comes back to life again.

7. I need to buy a 5V/300 mA car charger for this unit. what i have now is a mains charger. I saw a Nokia branded charger yesterday, it costs RS 430/- i need to check for a cheaper one.

You are most welcome starvegabond. Infact i was using that software for converting videos for my mobile. haven't tested yet for bigger videos. taking in account of the screen size you have i would consider going for Divx/Xvid avi or flv video formats.

Default Fuel tank capacity

I have a question to the ANHC owners in the forum

The ANHC specifications says that Fuel Tank Capacity is 42 Ltrs.
But i have never been able to fill 42ltrs till now. the max i have been able to fill is about 36 ltrs

my question is every ANHC owner experiencing the same ?

Yes, this happens in all cars becasue there will be 7-8 liters of petrol in the reserve. If I rush to the petrol bunk soon after I see the low fuel indicator, my ANHC takes about 32-33 ltrs.

The max i have filled in my ANHC is around 36 litres. There was bit of fuel left and the trip meter mentioned i could do another 80 km.
