@patelhemals: Congrats on your purchase!

Though I am an ardent fan of Scorpio but with better GC, more space and comfort, better handling, countless goodies, etc. Xylo is certainly a rationale choice.

Cheers,
Deepak

Hi there Some more pics
of the Dash, Driver info System and Cubby Holes
Fittings should have been much better though.. they feel very clumsy and cheap.
The Alloy looks cool.. but i would have loved the alloy of the scorpio .. it looks awesome... Hey anyone Does the E8 have rain sensor wipers?

Congrats patelhemals,
Xylo sure is a sane choice, provides everything and more for your buck. Too bad you missed out on the ABS, but nevertheless, hope you enjoy the machine to the fullest.

The design was hammered when it was launched!! Everyone hated it!! Slowly I guess, it has started growing on people. Doesn't look all that bad. Infact, I much like the alloys on this one rather than the curvy things on the Scorp.

hey hemal cool pics and seems its worth the price you paid, yes few quality issues as yousaid but is taking on quite lots of people's choice now, one thing that i would like to know isthat in rains does your rear wiper automatically engage while you switch from front gears to reverse, as i heard this feature comes in xylo.Sorry you missed on ABS option but keep driving and updating us more on your experience with xylo.

Default Xylo safety features

Congrats on your new buy! Enjoy many trouble free miles ahead!

Can any one shed some light on whether the Xylo has basic safety features such as:
1. Side intrusion protection beams on doors
2. Collapsible steering column

I asked chennai India garage sales personnel in my two visits on side intrusion beams on doors none knew of it. Instead they were telling on crumple zone!

I sent two mails to admin at xylo website and so far no reply. Even small hatchback cars come with side intrusion beams! Mahindra seems elusive with this feature on their Xylo as cost cutting??

Thanks
