Exactly what i thought when i changed colour and took delivery of my vehicle.
Toyota and Maruti have already increased prices dude, and it hardly makes a difference wether the cars 2011 or 2012 registered. Anyway till Feb - March 2012, all delivered cars will be 2011 manufactured.
Mine is Nov 2011 manufactured.

Could you do me a favour, when you go to pick your car could you ask you dealer if they know when an Automatic version of the Jazz is going to be released.

So, from UT i have changed my color preference to white and will be able to get my car in Xmas!

Congratulations freak1201 !!!

We were given a similar option and made the same choice (changed from the booked UT to the available Tafetta White). Have been loving the car since and hope you'd do so too. Enjoy the Jazz !

I dont think this option is available!!! I have not been able to figure it out on my Jazz yet. What I do is to lower the volume whenever there is a need to pause the player. Bad, but no other option for now.

Hi avikannan,

We booked it @ Dakshin. The original choice was a UT Select but the dealership mentioned that it would only be available by Mar, '12 and offered a TW Jazz X instead (which we went for).

That is certainly strange! Honda has packed the Jazz will all the bells and whistles and it is unusual to have "missed" out on this feature. Is the "pause" feature missing on the remote as well?

If there is no "pause" feature, my suggestion is: Simply switch off the player when you want to "pause" the music. Switch on the player when you want to continue playing from where it last stopped.

There is no pause in the civic's system either. You just have to use the power off switch to pause. Press it back on and it starts from where it left off.

Has honda's production for Jazz on track now? Anyone on the forum has any idea (or heard from any dealership) when the bookings for Jazz would reopen?

Hi,

I had called assistant marketing head of honda , he told me that parts have started coming from other sources and that production has been ramped up , Honda is focusing to clear backlogs from early feb. Hope its true!

The wait is horrible.

I'm told by the dealerships that the production has resumed from last week. The parts (like the X grade kit for my Jazz X) as well as the delivery of wait listed vehicles will start late in Jan. and all backlog would be cleared by March end.
