Great mileage Greg. What is your in-city mileage? I'm asking because I consistently get 11-12 in Chennai traffic in my MJD and few times dipped to 10!

Mileage of 30 km/liters is pretty good . Yes what about the City Mileage ?

My odometer shows 13.5 in city so far with a lot of Ideal time and at an average speed of 23 km/hr (City Delhi). I have done arround 2250 kms in total.

City mileage with full A/C kept 21.5 Celsius 15.1 kmpl never dropped below 14.5 kmpl it used to drop .5 - .8 (depends on traffic conditions) improve the drop mileage by driving next few kms. Without A/C 16.7

Guys today just completed my trip and tested full tank method as suggested by team-bhp members
day by day my linea is improving(rocking) in the mileage totally stunned by results.

Believe it!!!! it's giving 33.29 kmpl without A/C covering 196 kms for 5.89 liters diesel just Rs 208.00

started 4.25 in hosur filled full tank at five star agencies after krishnagiri heavy rain so not able to maintain 80 - 90 kpmh this time 70 - 90 kpmh
finished the trip at 7.20 in ranipet to fill the diesel tank i was surprised to see the diesel pump meter showing 5.89 liters pump man wasted at least 10 points it was over flowing....

As per FastLove it's starts giving above 35 kmpl immediately after crossing 5 kms but maintaing the 30 + average is big task it's the
art of driving my first trip got only 23 kmpl now 30 + kmpl

But still have doubts the AcB is showing only 31.1 kmpl but full tank results is 33.29 kmpl any how it's giving more than 30 mileage

Don't have words very happy and proud to be a linea owner

Wow greg, 33 kmpl thts great figures mate. I think its time for me to test the average of my Linea. however In delhi we hardly find an average speed of 25 kms. I will have to plan a trip to any nearby location.

However kudos for you. Mileage of 33 kmpl is superb . I am wondering Unlike Ford, fiat is not publicising that Linea give a mileage of 33 kmpl. I remember the ads of Fieasta with the STAMP of 32 kmpl (under test conditions). However never seen any fieasta touching these figures.

Mr. Rajeev Kapoor should better use above screenshots in the next advertisement for Fiat Linea. and should add

Savings Gauranteed along with Admiration gauranteed.

@ Greg
Please share some tips to get the above Mileage figures. Someone on the forum said not to cross 1750 RPM

if normal driver gets 33 kmpl (under test conditions) linea will give more than 40 kmpl.

greg

For the first time after buying my car, i repent on taking the petrol Linea dude.
I get 13-14 for 45 rs/litre petrol and you get 30-33 for 34rs/litre diesel, i really envy you now mileage man.

6 litres for 200 kms is way more than awesome and simply unbelievable.
taaliyan taaliyan.

Greg,

First of all Welcome to Linea tbhp club & congratulations on becoming a "Linean"

On your mileage, let me say that MID is fairly accurate.

However, if you still have doubts, correct FE can be measured by tank-full to tank-full & preferably for a large no. of kms run say more than 100-150 kms.

If you still want to check thro' MID, then -

- reset A & B trip meters
- let the car run for 100 - 150 kms
- check the mileage on TripA & tripB
- check the avg speed on MID
- check the distance covered on MID - 100-150 kms

one of the pics shows avg speed 66 kmph. With AC OFF & with that speed for a smaller drive, that mileage of 30-33 kmpl is absolutely possible

e.g. My petrol Linea, yday night, on my way back home in B2B traffic (30 kms took me 2.30 hours) gave me an FE of 7 kmpl @ avg speed of 16 kmph. Today morning, voila. Its Satuday & its my day. She gave me an FE of 16.1 kmpl @ avg speed of 50 kmph (same route Home to office). Both are on a span of 30 kms & both with 100% AC ON.

Greg, I'm totally in awe of your achievements. 33 km/l is something I had never even dreamed of getting in a Linea. But you're proving it. IMO you've got some real good roads with no traffic to get that kind of figure. Otherwise the standard FE on highways is around 20 km/l.

After buying Linea, all are becoming best drivers in the world.
A lot of MJD users are getting 30kmpl very often.
who knows,One day somebody claims getting 100kmpl in Linea Diesel.

Very good FE.
For normal driving between 80-120 with 100% AC,Linea Diesel definitely gives more than 20kmpl.
This is very economical than any other mode of travel.
Today i never say no to my wife to go around any where.cos i am having a MJD.
It never hurts your wallet.
Keep enjoying Linea owners.
