Yup, that's true. You dont really feel that an outstation excursion will set you back by too much.

Check Linea Owners thread.
most likely every Linea MJD owners has got 30+ kmpl in highway.
Mine best is 27.7 kmpl with 100% AC in highway.

Hello

Fantastic mileage.

I am not surpised though

When I drove my Accent CRDi on the NH4 to Chennai during run-in period without hard accelerations and constant speed of 60 ~ 80 I got a mileage of 33 kmpl once (without AC). I think if you maintain speed of 60 ~ 80 I think you can easily get mileage of 25+.

These days after 40k kms and some hard driving on various trips on NH7 , NH46, NH4 I still get a mileage > 22kmpl (with hard driving and 100% AC).

New generation diesel's are just frugal

OT. Can we assume that a combination of modern cars and rising fuel prices has turned us into more mileage conscious users/responsible drivers or are we still in awe of raw power regardless of anything?

P.S. I do not mean to call guys seeking raw power as irresponsible drivers.

WHAT A MILEAGE!!!! I was stunned to see these mileage figures to say the least. You are getting a mileage that I get on my Karizma, and added to that, you have a huge comfortable car.

Congrats buddy and take good care of the car. She is taking good care of your Purse from her side

Hi - I got my Linea Petrol Emotion Pack and is only 20 days old, but does not seem to give me an average of 30. Maybe because the car is new and the engine is not yet warmed up relatively. Will keep everyone posted on the fuel efficiency.

Is it possible for any sedan giving 30+ kmpl FE ?
May be some mechanical error?
If it is the fact, then awesome !
Thanks

Congratulations on your Linea!!

This is fantastic mileage.

If Linea owners are consistently getting 30+ mileage in highway, would'nt it definitely be a case to write to FIAT about it. Maybe they can get more mileage on quoting it as Customer feedback in their communications also?

The only other sedan I have read/heard giving more than 30 was Ford Fiesta.

Hi Khurshedc,

You've got Linea Petrol whereas the 30+ FE being discussed is of Linea MultiJet Diesel

PS: This happens to be my first post on t-bhp.
