Well I dont know if a slightly over inflated tyre will result in a puncture but what I do know is that a pressure of 33 psi is not overinflation even if it is Nitrogen.

I did the 3M paint protection and not Teflon.
I thought 3M is better than Teflon after reading many suggestions in this forum.

ok.. is this 3M paint that you are talking about, was done from the dealer of from any external source. And what is the cost for it in market?

3M has something called Paint protection which acts like the teflon.

I did it directly from the 3M authorised dealer and it costed me Rs. 1500

Refer the below 3M website for more details.

brar, teflon is just a buzzword that looks good only for cooking utensils. What you need is paint protection as suggested by BNZ. You need not worry, your car will look HOT and not cool after this paint protection )

brar, forget the picture on the website. As Kapil stated, your car will look HOT than cool.

I am not sure if its worth the money spend because you wont find the effect on lighter colours but the difference is quite visible in darker shades.

Its 'good to have' and NOT 'must to have'. It gives you the comfort that your paint is being protected for 3 months. Period.

hehe.. Ya then i will go for this. But that site suggests that it is available at the showrooms of tata itself. So i will not need to look for any other retailer, rite??

Brar, Tata showrooms charge you extra being their margin and handling charges.

In Chennai, Concorde motors quoted Rs. 2000 but done by the 3M guys deputed in TATA service centres.

Findout from TATA dealer at your end if they could do it for Rs. 1500.

Friends, further to the query from Ashwin (Geeash) in his forum, i have the following query again repeated through my thread.

Linea stock bulbs are h1 55w and h7 55w.

Need your help in choosing the right bulb for Linea
1. Philips xtreme power H4
2. Osram Night breaker H1 and H7
3. Philips Chrystal vision 4300k

I am not sure if Philips xterme power H4 will suit linea's H1 and H7 as the accessories shopwala advised me against getting this.

Experts, pls advise as i am too ignorant about these. Usage is mainly for highways.

Pardon me if this is a repeat query and have already replied earlier in this forum

IMO,H4 won't suitable for either H1 or H7.
Go for Osram Night Breaker. It's very powerful and lit the road ahead like a sunlight.
But i don't have any idea about the life of the bulbs.
Check with some shopwalas.

I beleive these are imported ones and are available only on GP road. You are right, the life of these bulbs are a big question mark.

From what I've heard, these bulbs have a short life span and will last for around 6 months or so.

Is the rubber beading rust-causing issue a problem for all Lineas?

I noticed issues with my wipers within 2 months as well - they were streaking quite a bit. They were perfect initially, the best wipe i've ever come across. However could only bring it to the notice of the SA after ~5 months. He said all wipers have a lifetime of only 4 months or something to that effect, and said I need to buy new ones. Is that true?

P.s.: Keen on seeing which bulbs you upgrade to as well
