Karlsson has quoted 28k for Scandavian Leather.
difference is in the quality of leather and the fitment. stanley leather is different quality wise. Achinth Visit karllson and meet the CEO Sajith. you will know the difference between Stanley and karlsson

Sunil,
I went to Karlsson showroom and met Sajith Unni. I have visited Marvin, Ovion, Ceralli but not Stanley. I have seen their fittings as well and they are equal to that of Karlsson. Regarding leather - I could not make much of difference but at the same time I am not a leather expert so I may be wrong.

Here is my delivery experience:

I was told by Mr.Ashok that I can take delivery at 5:30 PM. I booked a taxi at 4:45 PM and after the taxi arrived Mr. Ashok called and told me because of the first few deliveries of Nano by Prerana on the same day my delivery will be delayed and it will be at 6:30 PM. Since the taxi had already arrived I started immediately with my family and reached Prerana showroom (Lalbagh Road) at 5:45 PM.

At the showrrom first Nano deliveries were happening and TV channels were covering the event. I went inside and was told that it will take some time and we were asked to take some snacks (arranged for the Nano delivery function). I went to have a look at my car parked outside. The car was not cleaned at all and when I complained was told it will be done in the next one hour. I went to finish the paperwork which got completed within half an hour. After another half an hour of waiting I was told my car is ready.

To my surprise the car was not cleaned well at all !!! Windows were dirty, body, chromes, headlight were not cleaned (there was gum everywhere). I told the delivery incharge that I cannot take delivery like this. I was told to take delivery today and come again two days later and they will clean the car again. I refused and asked them to clean the car again thoroughly. They finally took it back again and cleaned and polished it in front of me.

Two issues which I noticed during pre-registration check and wanted fixed before delivery was not fixed:
1. Scratch on glove box (was told it will be replaced)
2. Black mark on B-pillar (it has been removed partially but still looks bad)

I have been promised both will be fixed on Wednesday when I come to pick the registration number plate.

Finally I was given a demo of all the features and controls. I did another PDI as per TBhp checklist and took delivery of the car at 9:20 PM.

Here are some photos of the interiors. The quality of the buttons have improved a lot compared to the demo cars on which I took the TDs. They are more strong & sturdy :

congrats man. love the photos, and appreciate the unique ones as well. not all linea owners here have posted photos of the quality of the plastic, which has been touted as poor, but looks alright to me in the photos.
also, the colour looks regal on the linea, and I think you have made the right choice going for the diesel.
cheers mate. enjoy the car, and take good care of her.

nice pics achinth. The plastics even though not of the best quality do look sturdy.
a friend of mine who owns a linea for 4-5 months now has no complaints regarding plastic pieces falling off or chrome falling off.
recently when i drove his car i found the NVH to have reduced considerably, engine felt lot smoother and responsive.he had done around 7k kms.
My only grouse is the ground clearance.

still i feel FIAT has finaly hit the sweet spot.
enjoy your beauty maan

Congrats on your buy. In fact, I saw your car in the afternoon at Lalbagh Road Prerana Motors. I was there to do a PDI check of one of my colleague's Punto (Red).

Welcome to the club of (Flamenco Red) Lineans! I too find the quality of plastics decent. Great pics and hope the minor issues are resolved.
