After reading 100s of posts and several rounds of consultations with Team BHPias, I booked the Ford Fiesta 1.6S today. I was supposed to make the booking last week, but did not. You can read about my aborted booking experience here.

Even after a bad experience with other dealer and few days waiting, now you got a good discount/freebies worth about Rs. 35k ?
The free Insurance offer is from Ford, but still the dealer is heading all other expenses which is very good !

Need some advice on the sun film. Should I put in a bluish-gray Garware or a regular 3M medium? Will a blu-ish tint too flashy?

Writing here on behalf of my uncle.
We have finally chose the right car and in a jiffy booked it to.
Booking date: 05.10.2009
Car: Fiat Linea Dynamic
Fuel: Petrol
Color: Flamenco Red
Dealer: Tata in Rajapuri, Dwarka
EDA: When booked, the sweet salesboy told, 10 days, within which our Loan should get approved.
Got the Loan approved last week, but now the salesguy says, to submit 60 cheques(crazy/true?).
Contacted bank, they told it will take 9 days to get that much cheque. In the meantime, the sweetguy called up and told that the car would arrive in another 10-15 days, when shouted he told that the container truck tyre got punctured and alternate stock has been ordered.
We resorted for a fight, then the sweet salesguy gave an option of going for a emotion pack model but that too in champagne color.
Then we planned a trap, asked him to provide a discount since this offer is provided by them and we never asked. Then he told that in our family if some one has a car by TATA, then they can reduce 10k, but we dont want the color offered.
So, decided to escalate, got a TATA guy number and he is telling another 20 days.
Keeping our fingers crossed.
Hoping to visit the showroom today to find out what is happening.
