It would be interesting to SEE how the car is doing now, any recent snaps after pampering from your end?

new pics coming soon
but before that i've got to change the bulbs of my head lamp to something more brighter.
what do you guys suggest and what brand ? i'm looking for durable long lasting brighter bulbs. should i go for white HIDs or stick to normal yellow ones ?

i've got a broken front bumper so i've got to get that made too.
bumper thing should be done in a few days. so will post pics then.

last nite after the rains in mumbai i took my car out for a short spin .
only to find out that the engine would stop if i was cruising on say 40 kmph and on the 4th gear ..never happened before. . it seems to suck air into the engine.
after that the car doesn't start instantly, a few mins later it would start.

Thanks ACM
got my car checked only to find some small nozzle rubber rings of the fuel pump broken
replaced for Rs 50/- and labour Rs 200/- now she runs perfectly fine

as for the bulbs
replaced it with philips power extreme halogen bulbs and results are satisfactory.

now next on the list is the bumper.

On Saturday, happened to drive a '97 W124 E250D AT, what a spectacular/well built car it is... no rattles whatsoever! I'm amazed at the build quality, time tested for 12 yrs now and still running fine. In relative comparison, my 3 yr old Swift sucks!

My company Chairman has a 1995 W124 E250D - And I am aware that it has been maintained really well, he has an 2001 S Class as well.

Guess what when he has back problems he travels in the E-Class - for the firmer - less bouncy ride.

Jubin, the seat covers do not do justice to your car, pls get rid of them. Even simple pseudo leather stiched to seat covers would do just fine. - cost 10-15L. Of course would recommend a basic stanley treatment for 30K-35K or genuine leather outside for about 25K.

well the seat covers were put on by my dad ,
he's into textiles after all and didn't want to sweat when he is on long drives.

would do something,
my dad is against the leather and anything else.
all my previous cars earlier had the towel wala seat cover ! ! !

Seat Covers look wierd.

Will you please drive this car carefully & not crash the car into every crater ?

btw please get the Suspension checked. Either you are a Driver who does not care or your car has a problem with Shock Absorbers.

I am also a W124 Owner so I am shocked to see the Front Bumper's condition.

Which area do you normally drive in ? I will avoid the Moon Surface in that area. Please do tell us.
