I am facing another issue with regard to the brakes, there is a krrk krrk sound when the brake is applied and released, I used to get the same noise on my indica usually after a water wash. But on my linea it happens every time on very slow speeds or when the car comes to a halt from slow speed The car has done 400 kms as of now. Is this an issue or would it go away after more running of the car.
No problems.. This is usual.. this will get right once the break pads are cleaned... No worries.. I had this issue multiple times and this will eventually go away.

Regards,
Sathya

Thanks JRD

I had picked up the car with 58 KMS on the odo and did a tankful with 35 lts. Today I just did a tankful again at 445 on the odo. The FE is somewhere around 11.63 KMPL. Hope this will increase over a period of time. Sometimes it makes keep thinking that my right foot is heavier than my left foot whenever I sit in the driver's seat of my car.

Here are couple of more pics taken under the street light

Not at all...

I have heard people talk about the plastic quality. Here is an update.. the power window console is so clumsy that when I try to pull up the button, the whole console comes along with it. Attaching few pictures. Need to show this to the service folks

Yikes !!

Checked mine and they look fine. But noticed the front passenger side juts out a bit. So will ask the A.S.S next time around.

Cheers, Sam

Vasanth, congrats on finally getting your Linea.

On the GC issue you will slowly learn how not to scrap it. I used to scrap all the SBs in Bangalore but now I rarely do unless it is a real bad one !!!

Thanks Achin for all the help you provided me before the booking.

Regarding the GC, I am still in the learning process, So far I have learnt to avoid scrapping on the SB on my regular route. There are atleast 25 SB's that I cross on one way to my office and I have managed to clear atleast 70% of them without scrapping them

Default Short trip to Kotilingam near Kolar

Hi,
I am leaving in another 1/2 an hour to Kotilingam near Kolar. The car will be fully loaded with 4 adults and 2 kids. Will update you more about the drive after the trip. The current odo is around 650 kms. Will not be pushing too much on the speed, let me see how much I can extract from the car during this trip

Kodivasanth,

Have a happy and safe journey. Dont push the car much, its still under 1000 kms.
Regarding that power window thing coming out, a member had told that the thing is held back in place via 2 clips for easy removal and reinstallation.
Dont worry it wont come out.

Yes, that panel is held in place by clips. You/TASS can easily pull it out using a srew-driver, spread the clips apart and snap it back on.

In my car during sunfilm installation, they fiddled with it and removed it 2-3 times making it loose.

Default Trip to Kotilingam

Hi

Here are some of the pics taken during my trip to kotilingam temple.

Trip meter reset before the trip

One way to kotilingam
Average speed : 35KM/hr
Average mileage as shown on the console : 16.1
Trip Time : 3 hrs and 3 mins(no breaks)

Return to Bangalore
Average speed : 35 KM/hr
Average mileage as shown on the console : 15.3
Trip time : 3 hrs and 13 mins(includes break for quick lunch and evening snacks at A2B)

I will be refuelling today and cross check with the actual mileage.

Traffic was hectic both ways and lot of road repairs happening.. so maintaing a constant speed above 60 was difficult.
Some pics attached
