Hi Prakash.

I am not surprised at all. Until now I wondered at the extent of this rot. This goes beyond our worst imagination. So, we have been wasting our time getting in touch with the parent company.

This goes much deeper than we thought. They are not only crooked. They are foolish too.

Although this is a stupid mistake, it does seem to indicate that issues are followed by the Chairman. It may be a different story that there may not be a visible action on them.

Holy mother of .....!!
I am lost for words, this is what Skoda has stooped to?
It shows what their working environment is like.
In one of the other threads I saw people from Russia complaining which is leading me to believe that one of Skodas core values is duping its customers by dumping dud products on to them.
Up un-till now I believed it was only the dealership/ A.S.S. at fault or bad dealerships but this is seriously making me think.
I absolutely do not regret my decision of not buying the rocket 1.8 TSI petrol Laura, me and my family would be safer in cars that are reliable.
But how did the female send this to you???
You have made my day

This is beyond imagination!
Not in my wildest imagination would I have come to this, that the parent company is also involved in this SCAM. This answers all the unsanswered Q for Harish's case.
I wonder if the Germans are also involved in this. Since the recent past the real parent company "The Volkswagen Group" is involved in streamlining a lot of practices of Skoda. My request to the moderators of team-bhp:
1. Can we not take this up to the German press?
2. Is this not a strory/scam enough for the Indian press?
3. How much more does Skoda need to be exposed and yet get away with malpractices and playing with lives of people.
4. This is a BIG NEWS for the German press. The VW Group employees has been caught in a lot cases for mismanagement of funds, etc. But yet it enjoys the reputation for No. 1 Brand in Germany due to its reliable products. This is probably the first time that their negligence towards their products has been exposed to such an extent. I am sure, if we approach the right channel we will find good German press support.

I can’t believe this; the Skoda staff is so cunning enough to cheat a customer. This is really a serious issue and we should bring this to public (mass) notice.

Then who is Karthick? And it says chairman is not following this case, it means he is following many case from Indian and still more cases come up in spite of chairman following some of the cases.

The only solution for these problems is to have government body to regulate the manufacture and have strict rules and at the same time it should not be lazy as other offices.

I feel pity for Skoda owners.

Skoda cars being very expensive are meant for the elite. This would mean that there are plenty of Skoda customers who are well placed in the society with influence in Government Offices. Can't this be used to straighten them up. Or, are the cars of these influential lot given proper care ??
Its simple business sense for Skoda guys to improve their image in India which is one of the most important world markets today.

I am not able to gauge what is this, honestly.
Does this mean that Mr. Prakash Gupta had used wrong email address so here is email to inform Mr. Karthik of Skoda that the email from Mr. Prakash Gupta will not reach the head, so Mr. Karthik can be at ease ? And this email accidentally lands up with Mr. prakash Gupta ?

If the above is true, then we simply need to ban Skoda in India. After reading the statements in bold, I am sure that this is worst level to which anyone can fall.

I thank all members who have taken some time to go thru my post and also the replies.

I am already at stake for a fairly good amount and also a few more friends like me.

I am sure we will be able to teach the Skoda guys a good lesson with all the suggestions that have come in.

Hence request you to send this link / details to as many people possible and the govt offices, German Chamber of Commerce, ARAI, CII, MCCIA, Auto magazines, Press, etc;

I simply loved these lines. Simply clever indeed. Yes, I will consider the environment before printing this email, in fact I won't print it, let it remain securely on the public forum.

There is no point bringing this to the notice of Skoda India, they already know what they are doing. Karthik is the same guy who along with Thomas Kuehl met the moderator team in Mumbai.

The simple fact that this Pavlina is sending such a conspiratory email to Karthik tells us that they are all in cahoots aiming to cheat the customer.
