Scary Stuff. I will certainly stay away from Skoda.

Can we imagine the TATA's doing the same in UK ? God Bless this Country.

If TATA does it in the UK, the news will spread like wildfire in the media that Indians and Indian cars are crap.

But when German cars does it in India again and again, its still not very convincing for people to believe that.

Prakash, unfortunately you are becoming one among the ever growing crowd. I think consumer court is a way out, please check with a local lawyer in your place...

With companies like Skoda, there is only one thing we can do.
Avoid them like the plague.

I've personally asked 2 friends who were contemplating the Skoda Superb to stay away. Told them about Harish's thread. They took their business elsewhere.

2theMax - The TATA's would surely not do it and in UK specially not.

Indian companies still stand for a better reputation. We Indians may make mistakes but we will accept and stand by it.

Also like Mpower says that the news will spread like wild fire, yes if such a thing happened in UK, they would have stopped the Indian company right away, imposed heavy fines and taken them for a task to the Court, etc; As our system has lapses and loop holes, such cases go down the drain or in a ROUND FILE (dust bin). I am forwarding a writ to the Heavy Indutries department also.

And SVSANTOSH rightly advised that we need to go to the consumer court.
In my eralier case of the Petrol 1.4, when they have pulled back almost all the vehicles and stopped producing, they need to be asked reasons and official declaration. The Diesel 1.4 is also on the same tracks very soon.

Lalvaz I think we should go with banners to the Skoda plant and fast to attract the attention of all.

Hey guys just to keep you updated the Skoda guys have yet not contacted me after all this. What else can one expect from a company with such officials.

It is like the story of Banta:

who goes to the doc for a pain in the eye

doc say there is some dust and foreign particle

banta says remove the dust leave the FOREIGN particle

Looks like Skoda is adamant on their stand and not willing to look at the genuine complaints. This resulting more and more complaints are being reported. Most of the companies always there to do some compromise when they realise that the fault is theirs but skoda seems not at all disturbed?

The company is least bothered or interested to sort out the concerns. They have not communicated on this even after the mails have been sent to the Chairman.

In fact I have come across two more Fabia owners who are facing similar problems but as they are not familiar with Internet are unable to post the details.

Can I post the same on their behalf?

Here is the AD. Apart from the Discount, they are giving Bow and Arrows as gift.

Instead of merely adding to the outrage at taking the consumer / customer for a ride and taking us all to be so stupid ; may I request every reader to rate this thread to 5 stars? Trust me Google will do the rest!

Its really amazing and frustrating to see a company like Skoda stooping as low as this. Moreover its the employees that make a company and with employees like Pavlina and Karthik, it comes as no surprise that the main officials will be unfortunately not informed about the direction in which their company is heading.

Default I searched on the net

I typed Pavlina and Skoda together in Google expecting an image of a blonde but the above is what I got.

Looks like Skoda is out to over throw the TATA's from the label of worst A.S.S.

Oh My God! Can’t imagine a renowned-company like Škoda to behave so CHEAP.
I’m in the process of selecting my first hatchback and indeed had 'Škoda Fabia' in my list for their superb built quality. But after reading this report, my answer is a definite NO.

What’s the point of investing so much on a company who least cares for their valuable customers?
@Prakash Gupta, thanks for bringing this into light, as this would create awareness among many new buyers like me.
